Thank you for this information. How is the 2 or 4 year sales experience on the employment verification form verified through the brokerage by the debt. of RE?
If you have two years full time real estate (e.g., lending) experience within the last five years, then you could go for your broker's license once completing the course requirements. If you have unlicensed experience like lending, you will want to verify that you can properly complete this form: dre.ca.gov/files/pdf/forms/re227.pdf
ty for the video. Question: will I be tested again on the same subjects when I took salesperson exam or just on the remaining 5 subjects? Thank you in advance
Both the Salesperson and Broker exams are all encompassing. They are not based off of just the prerequisite courses. Thus, you will want to be proficient in all seven areas from the content outline that the exams are constructed around - but it is a lot of material. The courses have great information, but because the state exam is based off of all real estate I always recommend getting exam prep as that focuses strictly on passing the state exam. I hope that helps!
Have you already done the courses and applied? We offer packages with the courses, courses and exam preparation, or just exam preparation if you want to check out our options!
@@accreditedschools Im already a sales agent of 4 years but have been in the industry since 2011... I just need your guidance on whats needed and if not a premium package i prefer that but enough needed to pass the brokers test
Completely understandable! You will need five more courses and the specific courses will depend on the courses you completed when you originally obtained your salesperson license and if you completed any economics, accounting, or business law courses in college. If you want to give us a call or send us an email, we can go over the specifics with you and the packages we offer! I recommend our courses with video option because we have over a 90% success rate and comparable to live, but we can service all of CA with that package. I also did that for my sales and broker license when I was studying! :) -Schyler
@@accreditedschools I know that. But that’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking can a real estate broker sell house like a real estate agent even if the broker never got their real estate license?
Two years verifiable full-time real estate experience within the last five years will qualify, but you will also need to complete the other courses! Your property management experience should work. :)
2x questions: A - if I am a licensed sales person out of state (NV), am I eligible for CA Broker's license? How do the requirements differ? Is anything transferable? B - If I am a licensed Broker in another state (NV), am I eligible for a CA Broker's license? How do the requirements differ? Is anything transferable?
You are eligible if you have two years fulltime real estate experience, whether it be licensed salesperson or broker in another state. You will need to complete the application and fulfill the RE 227 form to document equivalent experience. In addition, California does not have any reciprocity. Thus, you will need to complete the eight courses before applying. However, some business or real estate courses could count towards some of the requirements if they have been completed at a college. You would need to obtain an official transcript. We would be happy to help you figure out the courses and any exam preparation you may want though!
