Every youtube channel reviewing the cars only talks about feel good features/gimmick features and nobody talks about the overall build quality & safety aspects of the cars.
This review is really good and balanced. I liked it. Keep it up. Adding into this: GNCAP Crash testing has revealed that chassis of Seltos (and indirectly Creta) is not so stable and scored low 3 stars which is poor for such a costly car. Also in a recent accident Seltos was cut into 2 parts which is scary (you can google it). In general Skoda cars are much stronger and sturdier than Koreans (Kia-Hyundai) and that's why I assume Kushaq should be safer than Creta and Seltos. Creta and Seltos are mainly for city drives and people who believe more in look and features than substance.
I personally think the review is done intentionally to highlight features that aren't actually what they are like described in the video. 1. Creta has bigger boot which was purposefully degraded. He could have easily arranged the luggages differently to accommodate all the baggages. 2. Kushaq's back seat width is equal to Creta's which was intentionally criticized, could clearly see the 2 people sitting by the window restricting not to rest their hands on the door's armrest in Kushaq (2:37) vs fully utilizing space on Creta (2:54). It is very apparent the reviewers did it only to make the video different from others. I have personally seen the Kushaq and it is as equal to that of Creta in shoulder room. Other reviews so far criticized Kushaq being less taller but it's is clearly seen its equal. I felt the same when I saw in person. It is by very negligible margin less taller (~2cms) I have booked Kushaq ambition 1.0 TSI. Though it's not as feature rich as Creta, it ticked all of my priorities including safety which is top priority for me. Ambition variant even has connected car feature (though no SIM support) and 10 inch touchscreen which I did not expect from Skoda, it's a surprise for me, I knew this only after booking the car. I am more than satisfied. If you want feature rich car but can compromise safety then go for Creta If you want decent needed features and safer car with performance then Kushaq
Hey man, I am glad you have watched the video with such good attention. The reviews isn't done to highlight or diminish a car or a feature. The sole purpose of us doing this comparision is to highlight which SUV is better in what regard, so that your buying decission is an informed one. Regarding boot space... In the Creta, the floor area is larger. However, there are two issues. A. Because the depth is less, you cannot place suitecase (our standard test luggage) one over the other. The rear parcel tray gets in the way. B. Because the boot floor is high, the rear seat backrest intrude more into the boot, pushing larger articles further back. This means you keep them facing the boot as well. These elements lead to the practical space being limited, leaving a lot of narrow areas free which can only hold much smaller bags or smaller articles. I won't go into design because this is a Space and practicality comparison. However, it is not only about the size, but the design which makes the Kushaq look sharper, though slightly smaller. Rear seat. Same three people in both cars, back to back. The difference in space and comfort is stark. Like mentioned, is more to do with the way the seats are countoured than the actual width. If you did find your family and friends more comfortable in the Kushaq, good. That means it works for your family. If you saw the review and noticed elements that u want to check out before buying a car, then the review has done its job. :) I wish you the best for your new SUV.. and do share your ownership experience with us. Again, thanks for watching with such great attention. We love the feedback. Will try and cover these points more in detail in the next one.

The least thing Indians care about is passenger safety in a car. This should be the first and foremost reason to choose a Car and Kushaq is the clear winner in that.
Selecting between the Skoda Kushaq, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Creta would depend on certain factors such as your budget, features required, preference of the segment, powertrain options, etc. If you want a car for city commutes with good fuel efficiency and a smooth refined engine, you may go for Maruti Vitara Brezza. Vitara Brezza still remains good value for money for an everyday city-centric SUV. The refined petrol engine should make it a better driver as well. If you want better safety, fun to drive car, and rear-seat comfort is not your priority, you may go for Mahindra XUV300 AMT. Mahindra’s XUV300 is easily the brand’s best sub-4 metre SUV yet. It’s got the style and the substance to make your heart want it, but your head might think otherwise looking at the space on offer. If we talk about Hyundai Venue, it packs in a lot in terms of sensible features while throwing in some extra ‘wow’ ones as well. Hyundai has got the basics spot on with the Venue. It’s spacious enough for the urban family, it has a large boot, and it’s offering the right blend of features and quality. The Creta is the more capable SUV here when it comes to seating five. It also offers a better rear-seat experience. Plus, there’s a long list of features, including a few premium ones. Its boot, though smaller with the seats up, is certainly more versatile, particularly because it creates a flat floor. However, when comparing the premium feel inside the cabin and the ride comfort, the Creta isn’t as good as the Kushaq. All in all, if you have a big family and want a feature-loaded SUV, Creta is the better choice. On the other hand, the Kushaq is a better SUV for a family of four (or the quality-conscious buyer). The boot is large, the rear seats are supportive, and the front cabin experience is upmarket as well (of course barring a few not-so-solid elements). And though it misses out on a few premium features, it’ll not leave you wanting. And then there’s the ride comfort, which is really appreciable. All of this put together makes the Kushaq a fantastic urban SUV for a nuclear family. Sure, you will have to compromise on a few areas. For example, the Kushaq looks a size smaller and doesn't have the same presence as the Creta. Also, the rear-seat width and the strong seat bolstering mean it is best used as a 4-seater (instead of five). If you have a smaller family and prioritise build quality over premium features, the Kushaq will make perfect sense. We would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership: bit.ly/3e7y6z3
You've nailed it. I test drove it and it bloody reminded me of Ford Ikon, Fiat Punto Abarth, Polo and Mitsubishi Lancer Nexia. It has hit OVEROVERHYPED Creta under the belt, just where it hurts the most. I own a Hyundai foe 12 years, but will never buy a lifeless, unsafe Hyundai ever again, nor recommend anyone. You have my Love @Skoda...
Kushaq much better option though backseat a bit tight. I have both hyundai and Skoda brands. There is no comparison anywhere with Skoda. But still I love both cars.
The Kushaq comes with two turbo-petrol engines: 1.0-litre (115PS/178Nm) and 1.5-litre (150PS/250Nm). While both engines get a 6-speed manual as standard, the 1.0-litre unit also comes with the option of a 6-speed torque converter while the other engine gets a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic). Moreover, there is no official update available from the brand's end about the CNG variant of Skoda Kushaq. Stay tuned.
On kushaq a 1.5MT ambition variant at 15 lakhs will be a pleasant middle ground. PS- I don't need sunroof and ventilated seats but I need relax ride and feel.

If you can wait you can get the Monte carlo variant with Virtual cockpit and 6 airbags
2 airbags in 21lkhs? Buy the manual one
Welll I know have to compromise but DSG is fun to use and I do more highway runs so had to compromise 4 airbags against DSG
@@dineshpatel9034 wait for a month more & checkout Taigun . It could come with 6 airbags in the 1.5DSG variant
Look at the timeless design of Kushaq. Just perfect proportions. 👍
Rarely I applaud any video, but bhai kamal comparison. Ek chij reh gai. Sabse badi strength boot nahi, driving dynamics hai, jo creta se bohot aage hai. 1.0L ambient best variant hai mere khyal se.
Thank you bhaijaan!
We will be making a separate video on that on our sister channel ZigWheels.
Every youtube channel reviewing the cars only talks about feel good features/gimmick features and nobody talks about the overall build quality & safety aspects of the cars.
Very nice explained sir..m taking creta sx diesel delivery in next month so both suv is good so I will go for creta
It is 4 star now
I really love kushaq vo ek badi company wala feel deti hai jo premiumnes ki hum baat karte vo hame isme milega aur look mai kushaq is better
Thanks for review. Also compare them w.r.t maintenance cost, spare parts cost, service cost etc.
Thanks for watching! This will take some time as we prefer taking owner feedback more than the service center 's
It is by very negligible margin less taller (~2cms)
I have booked Kushaq ambition 1.0 TSI.
If you want feature rich car but can compromise safety then go for Creta
If you want decent needed features and safer car with performance then Kushaq
Beautiful🥰
I wish you the best for your new SUV.. and do share your ownership experience with us.
Again, thanks for watching with such great attention. We love the feedback. Will try and cover these points more in detail in the next one.
Who said creta is not a safe car? Maybe you have mistaken with kia and hyundai! And nly 2 airbags for at ? This is dumb af
I don't want to discourage you, wish you a safe journey
But motor octane also said the same thing about rear seat space and boot space of both cars.
Kushaq offer all premium features with extra stability on road with very less price compared to Creta. Kushaq engine is super solid and don’t require much push as power is on higher side. Do include all such things in your video, so it give correct picture to customers.
V will done.. Great job guys!!!
Thank you!
Amazing comparison!!!!!!! Was desperately waiting fr this. I’ve probably learned more spoken hindi frm u guys than ive done frm classes😅.

Its time to make a way for New King (Kushaq)..
Really agreed with this comment.
Waaow..so many Air purifier fans were shouting from day 1..Creta is better..boot space is so much more than Kushaq..here comes the proof..thanks to Cardekho.. 1.5 TSI manual is coming this October..
Just not air purifier dear, it has long list of reliability, after sales service, unmatched quality at affordable price, affordable parts, safety, 25 years of assurance. Go to Skoda and compare service costs. Just changing oil costs 5000. Creta is the king and will remain so. You can't stop...
@@jaychavda12 I have a Polo TDI since 8 years and am aware of the service cost..when you compare the service internal and service cost then the actual difference is comparable..dynamics, performance and build quality are much better in VAG than the competition..the base variant Kushaq at 10.5 get ESC, ABS, EBD, Multi collision braking, roll over protection, ASR, electronic differential lock system, XDS, etc as standard safety features..it also gets 7 inch touch screen with 6 speaker setup..u mentioned safety in Creta then please check the GNCAP rating received by its sibling Seltos..where it scored marginal 3 stars with UNSTABLE bodyshell..
@@nikhileshtiwari7300 Seltos has scored 3 stars which is respectable not too bad. By this you are blindly saying Creta will score the same. Let the GNCAP decide. Both are different entities in India. Just platform is the same. Sure Kia will work on this, will provide much safer car then before...
My friend had Polo. Just changing some steering assembly costed him 45000. My uncle had Laura used to pay service bills above 30k regularly. So Im also aware about the VW group service and spare parts costings.

Excellent comparison.. But Am still confused which one to take 😀
Simple!!!! If u do frequent road trips with a 4 member family and want a premium ride quality, then the kushaq. If u want a feature loaded Suv fr city driving nd that panoramic sunroof excites u, then creta.
Kushaq no doubt
@@sankalplal4565 fr sure bro!!!! Drive quality anyday nd the timeless design
Hey man, thanks for watching! Tell me, how can i help you further?
@@nabeelkhan4878 thank you Nabeel for looking into my comment. Firstly it was excellent video which clarified most of my issues. I plan to take style automatic.. Now my only concern with it is that Skoda has given 2 airbags (really would like to know the logic from Skoda while they give 6 airbags in MT Style variant) while creta has 6 airbags. So is it safer than Creta? For an equivalent model.... and also some how I feel Bose speakers are a tad better than Skoda speakers
The least thing Indians care about is passenger safety in a car. This should be the first and foremost reason to choose a Car and Kushaq is the clear winner in that.
Kudhaq..

Only 2 airbag. What safety?

Which one to buy skoda kushaq suv300 creta venue breeza
Video on...alcazar and hector plus...😅(comparison)
You've nailed it. I test drove it and it bloody reminded me of Ford Ikon, Fiat Punto Abarth, Polo and Mitsubishi Lancer Nexia. Power, performance, safety, suspension, Class, smooth engine, bootspace, pricing, German Engineering Make in India, Kushaq has cracked it. It has hit OVEROVERHYPED Creta under the belt, just where it hurts the most.
I own a Hyundai foe 12 years, but will never buy a lifeless, unsafe Hyundai ever again, nor recommend anyone.

Kushaq much better option though backseat a bit tight. I have both hyundai and Skoda brands. There is no comparison anywhere with Skoda. But still I love both cars.
Kushaq looks fresh and aggressive!
Is there inbuilt CNG in kushaq??
The Kushaq comes with two turbo-petrol engines: 1.0-litre (115PS/178Nm) and 1.5-litre (150PS/250Nm). While both engines get a 6-speed manual as standard, the 1.0-litre unit also comes with the option of a 6-speed torque converter while the other engine gets a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic). Moreover, there is no official update available from the brand's end about the CNG variant of Skoda Kushaq. Stay tuned.
@@cardekhoThanks 👍👍

almost the same. Due to localisation, a new dealer has setup in my city and several car modifiers are also bringing skoda parts. However, the official statement is that the maintenance will be reduced 23%. You can expect somewhere around 6k

Skoda ka target 3000 units/month ka hai india main filhaal.
Shayed isiliye wo kisi cheez se compromise nhi kar rahe hain.
Globally Skoda bahut successful hai to shayed ye log 10-15 saal ki planning kar k aaye hain is baar.
Pichle 3-4 saal se safety ki taraf log jyada dhyaan dene lage hain jiska fayda TATA ko hua or ab renault-nissan ko bhi ho rha hai.
India main paise walo ki kami nhi hai. Fortuner, innova, creta , seltos ye sab cars middle-class aadmi k budget se baher hain. Fir bhi bik rahi hain. Kushaq bhi bikne lagegi bus iska mileage thik thaak ho ,service cost or parts saste ho, or khareedne wale khud iski tareef kardein.
i20 ko flop bata diya tha logo ne. Bahut mehengi hai bola tha. Aaj dekh lo.
Quality or peace of mind ownership milegi to log paise kharch karne main sochte nhi hain.
