They are singing in Russian but I think because of the franchise and the nature of the show the preference is given to English. Ludmilla Sokolova sang "Falling Into The Sky" in Russian and just about crushed it. Dima Bilan was doing all he could do to keep his seat.

Basically Russian producers were sure that audience don't want it and won't love it. The voice was the first one when contestants sang on many foreign languages. And it was so fresh and important part of the show's success. So on Russian TV foreign songs on the voice is like show's mark
