WOW!!!! What a super cool AMAZING video!! Just LOVED it but love all ur videos!! THANKS so much for bringing us along on all ur adventures! God bless u guys❤️🙏🏼😻🐶🌷
Omg! Chicago is just like NYC. Except that they don’t have all the glittery lights all around the building and it doesn’t compare the entertainment they have in the Big 🍎. You should definitely visit NYC and then after that come pay a visit down to South Beach (Miami) or Downtown Miami. If you do a Vlog here in my hometown, you are going to love the Miami scenery in the Downtown area.
The bean is actually called "Cloud Gate" and is a sculpture commissioned for the opening of Millennium Park. That park used to be an old train yard which was an eye sore in such a beautiful part of the city.
lol as someone who spent almost 7 years of her childhood in orlando (enjoying disney and universal to its fullest), and then moved to chicago (and have lived here for over 20 years). The answer to if you should move to Chicago is an enthusiastic "absolutely no. Hell no." It is toooo cold hahaha
FYI ~ That 4 story star bucks used to be my favorite store on the mag mile ~ Crate and Barrel. Garrett's popcorn is the BEST!!!! Glad you found it. The ice ring is free. There is an even better one just east of the bean and FREE!!!! And no chicagoan calls it willis tower. It will always be the sears. And if do move to Chicago, go to Lincoln Park or a bit north to wrigley/lakeview. I lived there for years and LOVED it.
Herr Pallo sehr schoen gemacht wie immer. Thanks for taking us along on your Windy City Vacation from Disney. But like the tried and true Mouseketeer you are you brought it all back to the house of mouse. Even though Walt considers Marceline, MO to be his childhood home his fairytale life began in Chicago. Perhaps we should all be so lucky for you to retrace Walt and Roy’s footsteps in Marceline. Cheers!!
One way to experience a coffee flight when tasting cover the top of the cup, smell the coffee to get the scent, then slurp it when trying it to see what flavours you taste and where the coffee hits in your mouth. This will also help you discover the different flavour notes but also the acidity of the coffee
Totally loving these new videos. Your mom is absolutely awesome! She needs to be in more videos 😀 I can't believe you were able to see Walt's first home. I bet that was an awesome experience to see in person!
I really enjoyed this vlog. I love your Disney content but it's nice to see you exploring other cities and having new experiences, I plan to go to Chicago this year in the spring or fall so this vlog gave me some ideas of what to do. Also, I love your family! I enjoy seeing them in the vlogs :)
Holy Cow, it's amazing that Walt's house is still there, awesome 👍 OMG for a Disney person like me that's a major piece of history - I hope they do make it a museum. It was Sears tower when I was there. Proud to say I did step out on that ledge but only for a few seconds 😂 I can't get over the house though - I didn't even know it was there...a must see now (but in warmer weather 😂)
Wow the buildings are so big! So much more bigger than in England! I love seeing your different vlogs and your home and family vlogs. Loved seeing where you came from 😊 you should travel to each state and do one thing in that state whether it’s an activity or visiting somewhere. That would be cool 😊
OMG, I’m a Starbucks junkie so to see this 5 story Starbucks is just a total treat. I don’t know when I’ll be able to go to Chicago to see it, so thank you for this Vlog. I’m a gold card holder with over 2,000 stars. You could’ve earned so many stars with your purchase there. And the pastries look amazing. I’m also not a fan of heights but the sky deck is absolutely breathtaking. Reminds me of the tower in Macau and the Strat in Las Vegas. And Kyle, I agree with you on Seeing the Disney home is like paying homage to where the mouse started. Another very Enjoyable vlog. Thank you for all your adventures!!
I have lived in this city my entire life and I have never seen the Disney house. I love that I learned something new about my city in today's vlog. Great job and I'm glad you all had a good time!
YES move to Chicago for a month, especially in the Summer!!!!! Also that Starbucks used to be a Crate and Barrell store. And it was always be the Sears Tower to me! Lol
Really enjoyed the downtown Chicago sights and so cool to see Walt Disney's birth house!! IMO every Vlog needs to start with Kyle taking a shower and wrapped in a towel!!
It’s not named the bean. Its Cloudy Gate. It’s because it mirrors the sky and everything around the CLOUD GATE. Alexa if you want to protect your leather boots or suede boots from stains there’s a protector that you can get at Walmart shoe department. The deep dish pizza is VERY HEAVY. Will is the MAN! I really like this change of blogs Kyle. Thank you Kyle, Susan, and Alexa. I hope you all are enjoying Chicago!
Really loving these ‘new area’ videos.. it’s great watching your little adventures further afield. Loved seeing Disney’s birth place, that was so cool 😎. Sending love to your Mum and sister (lovely having them in the vlog too) keep up the good work Kyle.. take care x
Chicago looks beautiful and that coffee & pastry looked so delish! But that Chicago pizza looked so gooey good! Okay what did I see? A guy doing a handstand right next to you on the Edge??😳 Walt's birth house was a cool visit! Thanks for the Chicago vlog, it was fun!
Sure, try a month in Chicago or NYC. Lots to see and do. It’ll be fun. Edited to add: caramel and cheese popcorn together is THE BEST. Gotta have both in the same bite. (Yes, I’m commenting as I watch.) ETA The Edge: Nope nope nope nope. I got fear-of-heights leg tingles just watching your vlog. ETA: Thanks for showing us Walt’s birthplace. Hope I can see it myself someday.
Hey Kyle and family! What a great adventure! Chicago is cool, but do not move there. I want you to stay near to Disney so you never lose that love. You would miss it. Love you guys!🥰❤️
We visited the Walt Disney birthplace in Chicago last summer. Super cool! You need to visit Marceline, MO…Walt’s inspiration for Main St USA. It will also give you the “shivers”!!
At 12:10 in The summer both of those towers squirts out water in. Also if you want to see a cool site in Chicago around Navy pier there’s a giant hole with concrete in it. It was supposed to be called the Chicago spire is supposed to be the worlds largest building but it never became a thing.
My family and I went to Chicago when my daughter was around 8 or 9 and she loved the bean. Almost 7 years later she got a leopard gecko for Christmas and named it bean.
Originally the bean was called cloud gate but us locals dubbed it the bean and it was created by Anish Kapoor finally unveiled and finished in 2006 in millenium park.
Action packed vlog to start the weekend! When I lived in the city I always had a fan or heater on that made some noise, then you start to get used to it after a few days.
Wow!!! I would love to see that house!! Gives me goosebumps just seeing it through the vlog. What a great vlog! Brought back a lot of fun memories for me. Glad to see you enjoyed it.
Fun! Having grown up in NYC and living in Chicagoland the past 20 years I say go for it.! Obviously you can handle Midwest winters but try it for a summer. As you know Lake Michigan is the best.
Glad you were visiting Chicago. You actually showed the building where I began my banking career when you were walking in Michigan Ave and then when you were up in the Willis Tower (will always be Sears Tower to me) you showed the building where I retired from 🤗 46 years of working in the city. I love Chicago deep dish pizza but not really a fan of Giardano’s. It is awesome that Walt Disney’s birthplace is being brought back to his it was in 1901. Hope you had a great time in Chicago!
Glad you made it Giordanano’s and Garrett’s popcorn those are my favorite in Chicago and it was seeing the Starbucks and Walt Disney house. I would geek out about the house too.
Walt's house is very nice!👍🏻 When Kyle was in that glass room that sticks out of that building there was someone dancing the next stick out glass next to Kyle 🤣 ( you can see that person a little bit ) great video!🤠👍🏻
Hi Family , I’m a Disney fan but other states are cool to visit . Thanks for taking us to Chicago 😆 Wow such a cool Starbucks❤️ Ha ha Your Mom is so funny 🤣 she’s a trooper for walking around outside there . You guys are a blast! Enjoy your family time❤️🙏
Hey Kyle, I’m catching up on some vlogs today as a drive to Georgia from NY; as always, I just love your enthusiasm for everything! I’m dying to visit Chicago; but hate the cold ; so I’ll have to go with crowds lol… nice to hear you’ll be visiting my NYC, I love love my city but not happy with vacc mandate. Loved seeing Walt’s birth home! Thanks for sharing 💕
Yes, yes yes...... Air B and B Chicago for a month! Yolk is amazing too. Our family goes every weekend for breakfast, even if we just do a take out. Oh and with Garretts you have to eat the cheese and caramel together and check out Lou Malnatis and Pizzano's pizza! You covered Chicago perfectly. Chicago tourism should make a deal with you! Thanks for visiting my city.
I was going to go to Chicago in December but we decided to go to Nashville instead. Will have to go there sometime soon and I’ll have to check out the Starbucks for sure
Great video, being from Chicago, it will always be the Sears tower. Interesting fact, my neighbors engineering firm worked on that deck, I would have never walked Out there, but I knew it was in good hands…and Giordanos pizza, one of my favs…
Fun fact: that Starbucks used to be the flagship store for Crate & Barrel. I need to visit the roastery cause it looks awesome! P.S. I have lived here my whole life and have never been to the Disney house OR to the Sears (Willis) Tower or the John Hancock lol!
John Hancock Centers view is amazing and often has much shorter lines than the Sears Tower. And you are still over 1,000 ft above the ground regardless when at the 94th floor. I have been to the top of the Sears Tower and John Hancock Center probably no less than 10 times each. (Literally) The view is amazing from both towers and they give different perspectives.
You gotta do what makes you happy. If you do move to Chicago, I definitely would recommend doing a short-term like a VRBO, like you said, just to make sure you like it before you set down your roots there. I don't think I could handle the extreme cold. -10?! YIKES!

After leaving beautiful Chicago for my new life in Davenport Florida it was special to see my city through your lens. And you gotta get a polish from vienna beef. THANK YOU! for sharing your trip and your family with us!
You should definitely get an Airbnb and spend more time in Chicago. Summer is a lot better and lots more events going on! It’s a lot quieter and less noisy in the residential areas of the city!
Chicago & I have a love/hate relationship lol! I took a weekend trip this past November & had a good time.. Lots to see & do & the food was great (We did Giordanos as well)… I guess the hate part is if I have to drive/park/& deal with all that side of the city life😂👍 Coming from a Milwaukee Guy
ok that is so cool walt disney house i would cry if i saw that its where it all started like you were saying if he was not born then we would have not had disneyland
You guys are supposed to eat the carmel and cheddar popcorn together. That way, you get the sweet and salty in the same bite. As for the pizza, you really need to have Lou Malnatti's. Their crust is a butter crust and has amazing flavor. Next time. Bye the way, so glad you went to Walt's house.
I have not had siphon coffee before, and I would love to try that! Lou Malnati’s pizza is fantastic! It’s great how you were able to make it full swing and visit Walt’s birth house!
Fun vlog! Well until you went to the Sears Tower. I was panicking just watching that part!! And the guy in the next space doing a handstand!! 😳😬 It would be a fun time if you did another trip to Chicago.
Interesting, your Mom and I have that in common. I've been to Chicago multiple times but for some reason, never went to see the bean. We're going there in May/June timeframe and I'm determined to see it this time.
Wow! That was cool you visited the house where Disney was born. Did you see any filming of Chicago Fire or PD? I am looking forward to your trip to my home town, NYC.
*FUN FACT* The Willis Tower (Sears Tower) is actually taller than the "One World Trade Center" by both rooftop height, and by occupiable height, as well as observatory height. Only the One World spire is higher than the Willis Tower spires by 47 ft. So when you go to New York, you will not find a building that can get you as high as the Willis Tower did. You will be nearly 100 ft. lower than the Willis Towers 103rd floor when you are at the One World Trade Center Observatory. The Willis Tower still has the highest viewing platform (floor) of any building in the US. 😉
ok so you have to go to the SKYTREE in Tokyo now.. it is crazy amazing.... our middle child is an SAIC grad ... her dorms were on state street... right across from Target ... Bang Bang Pie Shop on California Ave is our fav little place to eat
Very nice vídeo I am like you I also got goose bumps when u walked to Walt Disney house I would also been so excited to be there Thanks for going to his house.
Wow, love this adventure to Chicago. Kyle you need to def stay for a month so we can experience everything the city has to offer and your folks can join you for a few days too because it's so close! New York next :)
Wouldn’t that be a pullout couch? Also, city sounds soon become white noise. So much so that being in a super quiet place often makes me restless at night. I hope you go to NYC with Jojo!
Hey Kyle! Hope you're having a great day! I love todays video! I've been to a Starbucks reserve in New York and it was so cool I hope to be able to come to the one in Chicago one day!
Thanks for sharing your Chicago trip. Also you will LOVE NYC when you go. I went for the first time in Oct 2019. So much to see. Be sure to go in the One World Trade center. Spectacular views.
Disney Fans, this was pretty cool to visit!
pretty house looks cold there

Thank you for the special treat of Walt’s birth home. That was super cool.
Yes, Chicago for a month, but in the summer. Go when the sailboats are at the lake downtown or when they do the food festival in the park.
My wife loves the art museum in Chicago. Her favorite painting is there. 😊
I'll have to go
I would be geeking out as well! Thanks for showing us Walt’s birthplace.
Our pleasure!
Here's to having awesome parents! 🍻
siiii
Love the stop at baby Disney’s house. 🍼 Seeing the history is awesome. Perfect fit for your channel!
👍🏰💫
So cool to see Disney’s house! Def want to go to that Starbucks one day.

LOVE Garrett’s popcorn!!! The best popcorn we’ve had! Every time we went to Chicago it was a must to get Garrett’s popcorn!
It’s gooood
Yeah the best popcorn 🍿 in Chicago.
The best part of Garretts is getting all the cheese on your fingertips 🤣
I was going to go to Chicago in December but we decided to go to Nashville instead. Will have to go there sometime soon and I’ll have to check out the Starbucks for sure

You gotta do what makes you happy. If you do move to Chicago, I definitely would recommend doing a short-term like a VRBO, like you said, just to make sure you like it before you set down your roots there. I don't think I could handle the extreme cold. -10?! YIKES!
So cool! I would totally geek out too! Loving seeing your family more. Enjoy your family today.
If you’re planning a trip to NY don’t forget about eastern Long Island. Vineyards, Hamptons, Montauk.. not too mention some pretty fabulous people live there. 😊
That was crazy, as you were saying you were terrified the next window had someone doing a hand stand!! I would be terrified as well though!
Lots of people do hand stands. It took me a few trips before I agreed to lay down on the ledge.
Can't believe that hotel didn't have a sofa bed! What a great adventure with your family! Get your wish list ready for NYC there is SOOOOOO much to do and see! You def have conquered some of your fears! Did you bring dad back any souvenirs? Popcorn for Dad? Did Rocco miss you while you were gone? The mouse is calling! Wendy Lady
Love all the adventures you take us on! Love the original Disney house.
Thanks for sharing Chicago with us.
After leaving beautiful Chicago for my new life in Davenport Florida it was special to see my city through your lens. New York, New York! Can’t wait for you to enjoy it. There is so much to do, so don’t worry if you can’t see it all.
You should definitely get an Airbnb and spend more time in Chicago. Summer is a lot better and lots more events going on! It’s a lot quieter and less noisy in the residential areas of the city!
What a great trip with your Mum and sister. Hope to see more
Summer in Chicago is beautiful and a lot fun

You’re braver than me, I would not even of went to the sky deck. Anything over about the 15th floor is too much for me! Great video!!!
I want to visit Chicago now... even in winter. That frozen river looks amazing.
You guys are supposed to eat the carmel and cheddar popcorn together. That way, you get the sweet and salty in the same bite. As for the pizza, you really need to have Lou Malnatti's. Their crust is a butter crust and has amazing flavor. Next time. Bye the way, so glad you went to Walt's house.
didnt know this
Haha yes. I was watching and saying.."you're eating it wrong!"
Wow the coffee looked amazing at Starbucks !
Loved seeing all of the different places in Chicago! I really loved that Starbucks! Amazing! 👏 Also seeing Walt Disney's childhood home.
I have not had siphon coffee before, and I would love to try that! Lou Malnati’s pizza is fantastic! It’s great how you were able to make it full swing and visit Walt’s birth house!

Yes mix it up with some alternate Disney park stuff. I love it. So interesting. Hope to see more. And your narration is spot on. Nice job.
That four-floor Starbucks was insane!

Idk if I can do another huge building its scary tbh, but I will most likely
Loved the family adventure the sights were great Walts birth place very touching thanks fir the ride your the best
Garrett's is the BEST!!! I was just there for the Chicago Marathon and indulged. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hey Kyle! Hope you're having a great day! I love todays video! I've been to a Starbucks reserve in New York and it was so cool I hope to be able to come to the one in Chicago one day!
It’s so cool you could spend all day in there
That was amazing to see Walt’s birthplace.
Sound machine helps us sleep anywhere!
Anyone else want to hang out with Alexa and Mom? They look so fun to hang out with!
we all a blast, just missing dad
Thanks for sharing your Chicago trip. Also you will LOVE NYC when you go. I went for the first time in Oct 2019. So much to see. Be sure to go in the One World Trade center. Spectacular views.
