Just started working on NPRs recently for a local company. Had to have two guys to tilt the cab since it had a lot of center console accessories plus storage, it was a pain then I had a moment. OPEN the doors, it takes so much weight of the rear of the cab that a 4-year-old sumo wrestler can tilt it. They owened this truck for over 20 years and took me 5 minutes to figure this out.

Is there some sort of security lock to keep unwanted persons (such as tweakers) from lifting the cab to steal parts? I would be interested in purchasing such an item for our two Isuzus

Randy thanks for the question. Unfortunately, there is not a way to lock the cab down on the 2 door models. We assume this is done for maintenance and service access of the truck at any time.

What about the dual cab?

For the dual cab, our shops have a specialized crane that lifts the cab from the back. Once lifted, safety bars are put in place while our technicians access the full engine.

How much clearance is needed above the cab for it to tilt?

Box and body sizes will vary but we suggest keeping at least 12-18 inches of clearance above the cab if possible.
