There's a difference between missing a meeting and being excused from one. People forget, Shilo was late or missed a meeting and didn't play in a important game at JSU. If there was a very important NIL deal for a veteran player and Prime said no, you would have an argument. CU can't compete with money from texas, alabama, GU and we are focusing on exposure.

Personally I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. I can see how some people would feel some kind of way about it but in the big scheme of things it’s not a big deal. It was obviously an excused absence from the meeting. I would think if any of the players had a meeting or show with global implications/opportunities and requested an absence it would be granted. Why are people attempting to make an issue out of this? We have 8 months until the first 2024 kickoff…..people need to get a life! Geez!

THIS WAS NOT A MANDATORY MEETING FOR RETURNING PLAYERS OR PLAYERS COMING AFTER SPRING BREAK. Matt just buried himself with CU fans and coaches. Do your homework Matt. There were a lot of returning players and new players not at the meeting. The meeting took place BEFORE classes started. The meeting was just going over basic rules and procedures which are the same as last years first meeting. UCLA had money and jewelry stolen from their locker room too. THIS WAS NOT A MANDATORY MEETING FOR ENTIRE TEAM. Get your facts straight before opening your mouth. AGAIN NOT ALL RETURNING PLAYERS AND PLAYERS THAT ARE ARRIVING AFTER SPRING GAME WERE THERE. Again, it’s an NIL event that was already planned a year ago. Laugh all you want, this makes you look bad.

The returning players that could not attend will attend the 2nd meeting covering the rules after spring game when new players come. the rules are same as last year. the returning players know the rules. Any other player would know the consequence before the trip occurred because it takes months for a fashion show to take place. So they would have asked permission months in Advance to know if they can go. And his teammates would also know.

When do they have time to honor those commitments, but before that have to get locked in. This is the offseason! They only lifting right now and team bounding.
