I think the biggest mistake was just that BARRY AND OLIVER HAD NO SCREEN TIME... The Flash and Arrow need WAY more screen time then supergirl and batwoman, Kate and Kara are in like every scene

The crisis should've put a lot of focus into Oliver and Barry, like A LOT. They should always be outshining anybody in the room, and they deserve a ton of screen time
I hope they get more in parts 4 and 5, since Oliver is now the Spectre and Barry looks like he will be more focused on since he is apparently going into the speed force.
I think they are punishing Stephen for not extending his contract by drastically reducing his screentime.

They should have focused and emphasized that being a paragon is something you earn, Superman overcomes being brain washed, Sara accepts her fate with future Oliver, Barry is willing to die for his friends, Kate doesn’t fall for Bruce anger, Atom gives up being with his family
Part 2 really could've used that emphasis especially

The paragon thing wasn't used very well. The forced Batwoman stuff pissed me off. Oliver and Barry have barely been featured. Best part about it to me was the Black Lightning Episode that linked up to it.

@@Scoreman7769 that's one of the things I would change but going into the crossover I had a feeling he wouldn't be a paragon as they would make the leader of each show a paragon, I also guess Ryan would be one due to the him being confirmed, I had Oliver instead of superman and the Martian manhunter as this season of Supergirl set him up.
But yeah, he shouldn't have been a villain, and if he killed superman it should've been because of red kryptonite making supes bad and no one on his earth could reverse it, so it was batmans only choice.

I think a big mistake is that the supergirl and batwoman relationship is more focused over the Barry and Oliver relationship. Personally i kinda hate batwoman and it seems like her and Kara have more screen time than anybody else, especially Oliver and Barry. Batwoman is a brand new character in the arrowverse and her show is tanking but yet she is basically the most prominent character so far. I don’t mind supergirl but her and batwoman have only met once and they seem like they are best friends. They need to show us more Barry and Oliver in part 4 and 5
I agree. Since arrow ended they really needed more Barry and Oliver scenes. Batwoman really seems out of place in the crossover.

I feel like in their endgame moment that’s inevitably gonna happen will bring back all the people in the cameos. I do think though these cameos should’ve been worked into arrow season 8 with Oliver hopping to different worlds rather then being in the crisis.

Pokemon Trainer Oswaldo I’ll take as much Oliver as I can get lol (and it hasn’t been enough this crossover for sure!), but I get what you’re saying. All the time spent on Superman and Lois and their baby, Kara and Kate, and fan service cameos are what I’m really annoyed with.
I can think of 2 right off the bat.... making the greatest batman of all time a crazed killer and giving oliver one of the most anticlimactic deaths ever
but i get what you are saying, and i completely agree, i like crisis but they did kind of mess up the "shock value" as well as us longtime fans having huge expectations

Oliver died defending Supergirl's Earth. What's anticlimatic about that? The death the Moniter foresaw for Oliver would probably have been more anticlimatic.
@@SeanWheeler100 First of all he only died saving one earth, yes all life is important but there is a multiverse that still needs saving. Thats not what was anticlimactic about it, what was anticlimactic is that in one shot he lets out a battle cry and then when it cuts back he is bloodied and beaten and dying, i wanted to cry for oliver but it was so sudden that i felt no emotion, they didnt give it the weight it deserved.
@@batmanfan6207 The stakes are higher when the one Earth he died defending out of the rest of the multiverse is one that has an ongoing show set on it. And that part of the crossover happened to be a Supergirl episode, so Oliver dying trying to save Earth-38 is him failing to save the show's entire world. And his determination to keep fighting even when he ran out of arrows is not that anticlimatic to me. Though, my emotions may have been weak because I was already spoiled to Oliver's death from Arrowverse Wiki and I only decided to watch Crisis on Infinite Earths a few days ago.

The main mistake was that everyone was so focused on getting cool cameos, rather than the storyline itself. Throughout the entire second episode, they just walked around trying to find Paragons. The stakes also feel much lower than they should, and it's more storyline orientated than action.

The Death Skuller Well a good storyline balanced with action is what we want as it is a SUPERHERO crossover, rather than just walking around, talking.

The crossover should have been more about Brandon’s Ralph Superman’s. Oliver passing the torch to Diggles Green lanterns version to save the multi verse.

Even with 5 parts, it does feel like they had to rush some things. That being said, I've loved Crisis so far.
For me personally I’ve enjoyed the setup (Elseworlds) way more than the payoff (Crisis on Infinite Earths)

I think that their biggest mistake was trying to surprise the audience.
I think that they ruined the possibility to have some really good and impactful moments by attempting to "swerve" the audience. Oliver's death and return as Spectre should have been reserved until the later part of the crossover. It should have been more emotional. Earth 1 Barry should have "vanished" and Reverse Flash should have been involved with his disappearance. Even though these things would have been expected, I think it's better to have an emotional payoff rather than a surprise.

Munro McLaren firstly I’m ok with super girl have a lot of screen time. She’s amazing. I’m talking about her shows characters like Lena. No one cares about Lenas heart in crisis. She can die for gods sake all I’m saying is in crisis on infinite earth all 5 eps they should not have the eps shows characters having too much screen time and just have all the characters u want in every episode to make it more consistent. It’s a crossover yes but the biggest and most anticipated. Super girl is good but we don’t give a shit about her characters. Yes for flash it was good because they only had very short screen time like Cisco didn’t want his powers and then he accepted etc.
Also this is not the comics. This is arrowverse and here arrow is more important.
Munro McLaren I agree she was important and yes she should have done what she did but without all the drama. I mean was it really necessary. I remember watching the episode and was getting annoyed and just wanted to get to the next part saying come on hurry up. She should have done what she did but without a lot of drama and less screen time so that other characters could have at least been introduced or simply them having screen time.
Munro McLaren but that’s the thing when people are watching crisis on infinite earths they don’t care about how lena feels. They just want what it’s really about. And by doing this they could have reduced it to 1 min. So 3 mins could be used for a few more cameos or longer fight scene or two heroes talking like flash and superman which would be awesome.

Plus they’re likeable characters people like them. Super girl is a crap show look at the ratings on imdb. No one loves it. People love flash more and that’s y it’s ok for flash characters to have screen time. Even joe should have taken some of lenas wasted time. I think u should accept that super girl is a crap show.

Definitely more Flash & oliver. They are the two top stars tbh. Wasn’t into the whole supergirl and batwoman scenes. We should’ve just had a batman beyond with kevin conroy batman cameo
My only complaint was the lack of taking advantage of Tom Welling's Superman.

I don't think critics really care about cameos and references to other DC media (they probably call it a fan-service, which it kinda is), so it wouldn't have changed the score THAT much. I think their reasons for giving low scores are similar to Martin Sorcese's take on MCU movies: they don't see this crossover as cinema (I mean quality TV but whatever). Heroes Join Forces didn't rely on team-up shots or fight scenes or fan service - it relied on a good story and character developments (which wasn't there in my opinion but maybe for others it was). I love Crisis way more than that crossover but more experienced reviewers probably prefer the other one
The worst part is that they wasted most of the cameos of characters we'd all been waiting to see by basically brushing them aside aftrr a few minutes to focus on thier far more boring main characters
I think you are right about the announcements and leaks spoiling the surprise and shock for most viewers. I was able to avoid all the announcements and leaks so when I watched Crisis when it streamed they were all big moments and surprises for me.
Tom Welling was on screen for to long and had to many lines to just call it a cameo. That was a fully fledged fairly meaty scene. You can be disappointed it was only one scene, but it was definitely more than a cameo.

Part 4 was the best one out of them all but thats because Crisis comic writer Marc Wolfman had a role in the writing for it. We didnt know.....

Black Lion you say one of the biggest flaws is how much stuff was leaked and so there was no surprise when cool cameos or big events happened but you are one of the biggest contributors to information about leaks cameos and press information about crisis
I didnt even pay attention to any of the announcements so the shock value was a lot better for me
I didn't expect in a million years Tom welling would finally suit up and join the action... I knew there would be some excuse for him not to which he honestly didn't have to suit up but what we got was just a big middle finger to the smallville fans!
And there's still time to have 3 supermen on screen at the same time... Dean Cane is already part of the arrowverse and Cavil is still spandex ready, and also highly doubtful but they did say welling filmed 2 scenes and we only saw 1 unless they counted that as 2 however welling never played superman on smallville he's Clark Kent and Clark Kent alone!
I can just picture Welling sitting at home and getting the call from DC for permission to use his likeness for the season 11 comic, him saying yes and instantly regretting it and trying to figure out how to renegotiate his "no flights no tights" clause to avoid suiting up in any cameo moving forward!
As for Lucifer. They couldnt shoot it in the old Lux set, as it was torn down when the show moved. In fact, its now home to the Batwoman set. They tried everything they could to make the scene hush hush. I'm just good at what I do. Like I said in my tweet on it when it happened, they COULD have had it stay hush hush from me as well, if the driver just wasnt being a dick for no reason. It actually was filmed "indoors" technically, just that the place it was filmed, still has a sight line into it from outside. Which they really couldnt do anything about.

I got excited when we got Flash Crossover with Flash from CW.... But it sucks we didn't got all the Titans, Wonder woman 70s, Robin 70s, SuperGirl 80s, Superboy 90s, and Small Ville,and the Batman from animation for the last battle

Even with the change you mentioned I would still have been disappointed by how little black lightning was used, he showed up twice and was then part of the justice league scene at the end, which considering how little he was involved in the story made no sense.
To me it sucked as this was his story joining the CW universe and he was so underused. I still think that he should have been a paragon alongside flash, supergirl, white canary and batwoman, he is another lead hero and as all the other lead heroes were at the end fight it would have made way more sense. For the characters first crossover it just sucked.
My problem with crisis is what I feel like that is a problem in the arrowverse I've never seen a crossover that feels so epic but still feels slow. Like it's so big but I feel like not much is actually happening on the good guys. Also it didn't help that some of these cameos or characters shouldn't be here or as prominent like batwoman, Ryan choi, are given roles that are undeserving and spectre and black lighting are literally shoved in with no thought .
The Lucifer secrecy is weird. It's hardly the hot property that would pull in viewers. I bailed on that show a couple seasons back, and I am hanging in on Legends, for crying out loud. I was more impressed with Ashley Scott.

A fun game my husband and I are playing is "which of these actors have played more than one DC character?" It's fun. Not just cameos, like all the Smallville and Lois & Clark visits to Supergirl one-offs.
Blind Wave's reactions are completely unspoiled on the appearances & cameos (apart from Black Lightning), which has definitely impacted how they see the crossover. Would recommend going and watching their stuff.
They couldn't go into Lux. They would have had to take production to Los Angeles, which would have been very hard. It would have been nice, but Lucifer doesn't film in Vancouver anymore, so they couldn't have done it. Especially for such a short scene. They don't have that movie budget or time. They didn't want it to get out. It just got out. Logical thinking.

What I don't get is how the Monitor sent people out to "retrieve a mysterious Kryptonian who has lost more than any man," and they returned without them. Moreover, they ended up on Earth 167. Could that Kryptonian be Connor Kent, or maybe even Ultraman?
An interaction between Lucifer and Smallviles Clark Kent would have been nice
The black lion forget this. Have u seen the flash season 6 imdb ratings. Total bs. How can season 6 have such low ratings when it’s one of the best seasons so far.
The only good thing that came out of that Season was part 1 of the midseason Finale which was carried by the acting of Grant and Bloodwork. When he wanted to hold Nora omg. The rest is incredibly dull and useless. Bloodwork was a terrible villain thanks to the writing. The actor did a good job. Bloodwork did nothing that mattered the whole season. I can't even remember his full name. All i know is that his first name is Ramsay and that's only because I know the chef. The music every time Bloodwork showed up was terrifying though so they get credit for that. What did Ramsay even do this Season? He stole some things, had that hospital scene which turned out to be wasted as well as it was useless and he infected Barry indirectly which was hella awesome. That's it pretty much. The whole Season had no main villain and was about Barry setting up team F for a future without him and even that was half-assed. At that point, what is the first part of the Season even left with? The first half of Season 3 was better than this. Things at least meant something

I think the Anti - Monitor should of been shown more. I wanted to see his devastating powers in action. Yes, he destroyed worlds with the anti matter wave, but i wanna see him fight like a hundred heroes and kick there butt. The comic version of the anti monitor is devastatingly op. When he fights the heroes, he kicks all there butts. At one point, everyone is at the dawn of time all fighting him. Like a billion heroes and villains together fighting him. And he barley flinches. He kills Super girl and vaporizes Wonder woman. All we have seen so far is just him walking in a hallway and and tell harbinger that he needs her, and erasing the wave rider. When he does fight the heroes in part 3, he fights them for like a minute. Hes mostly defending himself. Like Superman comes to punch him and he just pushes him away. I wanna see him cause Chaos. Although, there is still Part 4 + 5 we haven't seen yet. I really hope hes more destructive and shows how truly devastating he is.
I also feel like there was to much hype for this. I was looking forward to this all year. But by the time it happens, i half expected the words Justice League to be mentioned. I know Justice League was probably not going to happen but that would still be cool. i wanna see some devastation. The crossover is awesome so far, but all the hype over it makes it feel like it could of been way bigger. The 1st time i watch the crossovers there awesome, but when i re watch it, i feel like it could be much better.
And what happens to all the cameo heroes on there earths then as well.
Like Tom Welling Superman has 10 seasons for a decade. Then the huge DC Event, Crisis on Infinite Earths shows up and hes in it for 1 scene. Its great but at the end of Part 3, the anti monitor wins so, does that mean Tom just got erased?
It feels like this should of been 6 parts. Like Black Lightning could have a part of his own as well.

PART 1 - The Summoning
Harbinger is gathering the heroes. Then the Moniter starts to warn them about the Crisis. At the end, Kenven Conroy Batman sees Barry for a moment. Barry calls for help but vanishes.

PART 2 - Paragons Rising
This episode is mostley just the heroes, Gathering the Paragons. More Cameos. And Flash meets the Anti Moniter.
PART 3 - A Flash of the Lightning
(CW Barry Allen) Flash destroys Anti Moniters cannon but dies in the process. Before he dies, he quickly grabs a camera. The next scene is the recording of Barry saying goodbye to Nora before he dies. Then The Anti Moniter attacks and the heroes try and defend themselves, but fail and the Anti Moniter ends up erasing all the worlds. The last thing you see is all the heroes getting erased/dying then the screen goes white. Then it iddmidetley ends. The Credits pops up but Flashes theme plays. The Credits are slow (so the whole song plays)and the words fade in/out and the song is "The Birth of the Flash" [ ua-cam.com/video/6EPMdvKKIQM/v-deo.html ]
PART 4 - AfterShock
Anti Moniter creates his own universe to rule. His Shadow demons invade his Earth. Heroes are overwealmed as they try and defend citizens from the Shawdow deamons. A charecter dies. At the end of the episode, all the heroes gather and charge at the Anti Moniter.
PART 5 - War Zone (i dont know what the name for this one would be)
Heroes try and fight the Anti Moniter but fail. A couple charecters die. Harbinger creates a "last stand" plan to defeat the Anti Moniter. The Anti Moniter travels to the dawn of time and the episode ends with the viewer seeing the A-M start to change history.
Part 6 - Final Crisis
Harbinger finely gathers all the heroes and villans and they all find a way to defeat the Anti Moniter. They are attacking him and he is destroying them all when Tom Welling Superman Finiley charges against the Anti Moniter and defeats him. { " I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! " } The last few scenes are the heroes celebrating then they have a funeral for all the fallen charecters.

I noticed the comic has 12 books. If there are 6 parts, Each part could be books.
I tried putting all 12 books into 6 parts, but theres just to much for each episode. :l
So far, this crossover is awesome. But i feel like it could of done a lot better. :/
Whine whine whine. At every chance before the shows aired, everyone was putting out fangirl level videos about the latest special appearance that was hinted at or leaked. Now you’re saying it should’ve been all kept quiet?! Because they didn’t give this or that particular character the screen time, or plot point that you wanted? Get a job on the staff of those shows and then MAKE it “your version”. Until then, you just have to accept what the producers, writers, actors present. Then when the entire story is done, make an assessment about the story in it’s entirety.

You can’t please everyone, just enjoy what they could do on what they had.
Since the Lux set has been in LA since season 3 of Lucifer, it wouldn't be possible to shoot the scene there, so a generic looking backdoor alley entrance was probably the easiest way to do the scene. Though I found it unlikely he would have heard the door knock
Five problems I have
1 not having Tom Welling in it much
2 the lack of Dean Cain considering how much of a missed opportunity that is considering he was Superman and Kara’s adopted father
3 not using all the cameos properly considering some people were tuning into to see these characters that probably didn’t want to watch the Arrowverse
4 putting a hiatus in the middle of the crossover.
5 the including Melissa Benoit in Tom Wellings scene considering Erica Durance plays her biological mother and Lois Lane would be an interesting scene considering how different said characters are
Some fault with the leaks spoiling things lies with those that read/listened to the leaks. It is not impossible as you say. You simply do not watch leak videos or red leak articles. I managed that so got the shock and pleasure values that I was supposed to get. The only one I'd heard was Lucifer and Titans, which I doubted anyway. As for tom Welling, he was not going to be interested in more, especially if they wanted him to suit up. He even worded it as the role he had being the one thing he could not resist agreeing to do. In other words, they had no choice with him. They couldn't do more with him.
Also, I am sure they *did* try their best to keep the leaks a secret. They simply failed despite that. It is not like they did not try their best.
Three Supermen on screen at once can still happen with parts 4 and 5. It was obvious that was never going to include Tom Welling given he is on record repeatedly saying that he does not want to don the suit.
With you about Tom, he wasn't suddenly gonna change his stance on that! He'd have never lived it down, every reporter would have wanted to know what changed his mind and wouldn't have wanted to talk about anything else happening to him in his life/career! He was hired to play 'CLARK', he played 'Clark' and although I was disappointed at the finale... I understood why he didn't put on the suit once I learned the Network had not required that and he had never intended to wear it...
also they tried to keep some cameos a secret like lucifer so you can't really blame the showrunners or the cw or whatever for not being able to hide something from the internet of all places
Leaks were not the issue.
Wasted oppurtunities and fan service outright denials. Two big differences if I were given the chance. Stock footage and CGI use increased by 400% yes increasing the budget and at least one episode paying tribute to the old guard, focusing on the DCAU voice guys and the 50s/60s guys, having them set a high action bar that the heroes will have to meet moving forward. In the process the mandatory shots would be the multiple Earths shot, Dead Supergirl, the swarm of supers flyong at Anti monitor, Spectre vs Anti-Monitor, Pariahs "Nooooooo!", Intro to the new heroes and Barrys death. RIP Earth 90 Flash
I wish they instead made black lightning the paragon of humanity because it would have made it better

If there was an end of the world instead of just seeing people scattered around; you'd see children in the mist of this . children coming out of school traffic jams people trying to get to their families which they didn't show for some realism. As for the Old Flash how did the Anti-Monitor got him .when last year we see him at the end of each episode saying to the Monitor " why are you doing this".…?

I thought that although Arrow was going away this year, they should have held off a little longer for the Crisis. DC owns all of its stuff thru WB. If you are doing a Crisis, then DO IT. Involve all properties, yes cameo, but cameo smart and REALLY throw all of your money into this. I want to see George Reeves, Kirk Alyn, Christian Bale. Ben Affleck turn around and see a red sky. Apparently there is 'Zack Snyder' footage around so why not use that to include the movie stars etc. This should have been bigger than they can go right now. It should have been a season long to build and milk cameos and every effort should have been made to get actors involved. The Crisis is not just a epic story, it is a CELEBRATION of DC Comics and it should have been embraced like this, not just as a way for Amell to leave. And I do think he needed a great big goodbye, but not necessarily the Crisis to do it.
Again, DC had originally far more control of its properties and should have had WB step up since any Cinematic Universe plans keep getting derailed. The Rock is all about Black Atom, him and The SHAZAM guy, or parts of the family should have had a cameo, Aquaman had a successful movie, you can use cutting room floor footage for him to turn around and see red skies. A Wonder Woman movie is out in a few months, what better way to get people ready for that with a cameo. Instead we got Lucifer for what 3 seconds....
The Flash boys should have run into each other in the speed force. Just to see Grant and the kid from The Justice League movie for a second would have been great.
I hear Doom Patrol has been doing well. I can't imagine that eclectic groups reaction to red skies or even a multuverse.
MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATION!
Even comic books should feel the tremors and even have been more widely used to flesh out realities that the TV couldn't explore like Bruce Timms Justice League, Hanna Barbarra's Superfriends.....stories that would Rick their worlds and the stories of the characters today.
I see this as a missed opportunity to revitalize DC in the wake of Marvel thru Avengers and Disney + and I really am a Marvel guy, but I appreciate and still have a heart to see the DC characters be given a truly epic and lofty experience that they are all well due.

i think that the fact some people didnt have so many surprizes is due to the maniac way they look for not have a surprise. It was well written in general (and of course not compared with dceu). just stop whining already

Also the argument about batman being a villain was bad is just a stupid argument. There have been many villain batmen before and i think the only easson they wanted him to be a hero in this is because it's kevin konroy and people wanted to see him suit up and therefore it's your fault your were disappointed and another argument was about how batwoman managed to beat him because apparently even if batman can barely walk (let alone kick someone) he's still able to take on 20 guys at once or a member of the batfamily

E90 Barry Allen's death was so obvious. Even from the beginning of S6 E1 Barry was clearly not gonna die. I dont know why it was presented like that and wasted soo much time on that. And that's for soo many other things as well.
In my opinion, I was disappointed by the whole thing so far (I will skip all the reasons why because there are just too many)! It is not even close to being an adaptation of the comic series other than the Monitor, the Anti-Monitor, Harbinger and Pariah there is nothing that even resembles "Crisis on Infinite Earths"!! This was my absolute favorite Comic event of all time even surpassing Marvel's "Infinity Gauntlet", it should never have been made for TV especially the "Arrow-verse"! This was an event that should have been done for the big screen only, if only WB had any idea as how to effectively use their DC properties/characters it could have been the most epic Super Hero Film ever made, but alas...where Marvel has their finger on the pulse of this genre, DC hasn't got a clue they just keep dropping the ball! Only Wonder Woman and Aquaman so far have made the grade in my book!

I have to disagree! For the last two seasons I've been avoiding all things announcement and trailers.. as a result it was incredible! Blind wave do the same thing! The marketing isn't the issue, it's people diving into said marketing and spoiling things for themselves! How are studios meant to keep secrets when people are always photographing sets ect! They announce this stuff so it doesn't "leak", so if you really think about it! It's really on each person as an individual how much they want to know before going in and not the studios fault at all.. it's easily avoidable.. just saying!
I also dodged every trailer and whatnot but was still disappointed tbh. 5 Episodes are not enough IMO. Not for the plotlines we have. You wanna push Kara and batwoman? Fine but can you also show enough of Barry and Oliver in this 5 episode special as this is pretty important to them for an obvious reason? No? Well, you can't do one then. The barry and Oliver stuff has been skipped. HELL! We have seen more from Krypton than Barry and Oliver. Not even joking. The time just wasn't enough. Oliver's death was pretty disappointing. The enemies were horrible. I have no problem that Flashed survived. We all knew he would. The problem I have is with HOW he survived. That was just lazy. Reverse Flash showing up and taking Barry into the Negative Speed Force because him disappearing there wouldn't fit his plans or whatever. It would have been cooler and I just came up with it on the fly. Writers could have done a WAY BETTER job in that scenario. Other than that I don't think the time was enough. 10 Episodes would have been fine. 5 is too little

You looked too much into the cross over it sounds like. You spend your time dissecting leaks and trailers and then complain when it gets spoiled. If you don’t want it spoiled for you, then don’t watch pagy or look at any possible leaks until after the episode has aired to get the full effect of the cameos. Also even if you know they’ll be reprising rules or making cameos, it’s still cool to watch.
What bugs me the most is that they destroyed all of the infinite earths but how can u destroy something that's infinite?
