- My dog and I set out to explore a fresh water creek in Northern parts of QLD. I try my luck at fishing but have no luck, however enjoy a very scenic walk, I enjoy some wood carving, practice some Bushcraft skills and cook over the fire. My dog "Lucky" really enjoys these trips as do I.

Cool as mate, really like these back to basics old school camping videos. Couple of wicked looking feeds there. Bet man's best friend loves the time alone with you out the bush too

You can live bait in most northern parts of Australia.. i think i was just trying lures out.. long time ago, can’t remember

Hey mate, what frypan is that. Been looking for a non handled one. Other than the firebox ones that are expensive. I could only find the 360deg ones, but everyone says dont use on fire as cant take to much heat. Cheers.

Been fires burning nxt to that tree for 20 yrs probably more.. that’s why

Great video, thanks for sharing this. The countryside made me feel a little homesick. I was born and grew up in NQ, to be exact, Tully. I moved away in my 20's. Now living around Sydney. It's funny that when I think of 'home' it's still my hometown. Best wishes and keep on camping :)

I was thinking about your fishing, have you ever had Lucky try to run out and fetch your hook after you cast it? I couldn't imagine trying to get a hook out from your dog's mouth, that would be so difficult. Again, best wishes mate, great video.
