Luckily I got saudia Airlines flight for 67500 which includes 23×2+7kg baggage allowance and insurance also. Layover is in jeddah for 3.5 hrs only . I Booked for 16 dec on 25 sept. Same flight is for 1.47L now😂

One point on activating the GIC , do try to get an appointment for the 2nd day post arrival , otherwise banks will provide you a delayed appointment and you wont have early access to that money.

Education loan can be taken for both Tution + Living costs, together. Try to take loan from banks. That will give income tax rebate. If you take from private institutions, then no income tax rebate.

I have one question over here. While searching for flights I saw Emirates and Qatar Airways are making a layover in different cities of USA. Do I have to get US visa if I choose these airlines? Or my Canadian Student Visa will help me to transit from USA?

Transit Visa is COMPULSORY for any flight passing through USA. Its tough to get transit visa. Try to avoid travel via USA.

All govt banks give loan upto INR 7.5 lakhs without collateral. After that they will ask for collateral.
But private banks can give loan upto 30-50 lakhs without collateral. Banks like HDFC, ICICI etc.
If you take loan from any bank, you /parent can get some tax benefits also.
But if you take loan from other private institutions, there is no tax benefit.
