Can you do a comparison with Bantu Knots done by twisting the hair (like you did in this video) and two strand twisting is then putting in the Bantu knot. I hope that makes sense.

I've tried Bantu knots before, and it was horrible lol. You just inspired me to try it again. Great results!
yes try again, this was my first time and I was nervous but it worked out, you gotta have the right products and I think my hair being stretched helped
Bubs Bee I think that was my issue, I didn't use products. It was at the beginning of my natural hair journey, and didn't know what I was doing lol. I'll try it on stretched hair as well. Thanks!

I've never tried Bantu knots since becoming natural because they're so much work. But after seeing this... babeeeeeeh, I gotta try it next week. Lol

It turned out beautiful. I loved the definition. I wore Bantu Knots when I first transitioned in 2012 and got an Afro look, but now that my hair is longer and I blow dry I will try them again to see if I can get a look closer to yours. You answered my question of maintaining them when you removed your bonnet after the fifth day.

I loved your results I just can't get them to dry all the way. Not even during mid summer ???
go under a dryer then and let them set over night or more .. but your hair has to be dry for this style to work
Your hair is beautiful. Do you have low or high porosity hair and does your hairstyles ever come out bad?
I have low porosity and not really, only if I use too much product, I will get flakes but I try to use little product as much as possible and add more if I need to. I do not really have bad hair days because I use products that work for my hair. I like thicker products and oils and butters. As long as my hair is moisturized, I can pretty much manipulate my hair into any style I want.. and more natural ingredients always works best.

It's so hard to find my exact texture...im considered 4c but my hair is much thinner than yours which makes it hard to determine if my hair will do right with some of your styles but I'm going to TRY lol
I would recommend to do bigger bantu knots for a more chunkier look, and use a styler that is light and will not weight your hair down
I will definitely try that as well as the twisted flexirod style in your other video but with bigger pieces...ill keep you posted on how it came out 😨😨😨😂
