I really hate the silver B-pillar, and the triangle at the A-pillar. On the bright side, the Passat really has grown up. Reminds me of its big EV brother the ID-7, though slightly less sexy body curves. Still not as plush as the luxury brands from the group, but it certainly shows a good approximation towards that end. The only holdout is that of the power adjustable steering wheel. On the outside the rear lighting is very tasteful. Its 3-D look is distinctive yet subtle. Too bad that look doesn't carry through with all the VWs -- in particular the North American Tiguan with its odd PLAY button shape stop light. The interior here is very nicely appointed with several examples of attention to detail. The large, lighted, and lined door pockets for example. In addition, the seats look very comfortable with their well-shaped ergo-active style. However, they could have benefited from a small amount of quilting or a bit more contrast stitching. Still, I appreciate the traditional separate head rests and not those ubiquitous integrated type seats that really are ill suited for any vehicle that isn't a true sports car. They might look sporty for daily driving, but after one all-day road trip, you'll be longing for even a small bit of adjustment. That's the same way rear seat passengers feel about the rear seat recline. Speaking of contrast, that would have gone a long way in finalizing an up-market look and feel with the interior. Hyundai/Kia products do a better job at that. Nevertheless, they got the center console right. I'm a big fan of covered center consoles (which gives a clean and neat look when not in use) and VW struck a bullseye with this Passat. My biggest grips inside are the haptic controls on the steering wheel, and the piano black that just will not go away -- although it has been greatly reduced. I guess that's something.

почему рамки на дверях ? 🥺
Why does this guy keep pressing the lock and unlock button
OCD?
Electric front passenger seat, a rare thing these days. Nice car, but not as dynamic looking as others arriving in 2025.
Depends on the market.

Nur schade das der Konzern an den Elektro Spielzeugautos seine Zukunft hängt.
