Hey. I enjoy watching your videos. I like the way you make your own candle jars. It makes them unique to your and your talent. I make candles and have made a few using cement all. In doing that i got into making acrylic jars and trinket boxs. I have made a few trays out of eco resin and was wondering if you have made any candle jars using it. If so are there any special procedures other than sealing them with a good sealer. Have a great day and i hope your sale goes great for you. Have a blessed Holiday season.
Hi Richard! Thanks for your kind words. In general, I would not recommend eco-resin for candles. It’s a polymer and would not be suitable for high heat environments. You may be able to experiment with aqua-cast resin however I’d be putting in a lot of research prior to even trying it for a test candle.
@earthglow thank you for replying to my question. I will get in touch with the companies that make them and get there recommendations. Im just looking for some thing different to set myself apart from others. But I really admire your advice. With you having a back ground in chemistry I knew you would not steer me in the wrong direction. Thank again for the advice I will definitely do a lot more research on the matter. Thank you again for the videos you put out. You always have a kind word to say to people. People think I'm crazy trying to start a new business at 61 but being on dialysis and on a fixed income I have to do some thing with my spare time or my anxiety and depression along with my PTSD will drive me crazy. I'm going to use one of your saying hope you don't mind. Here's wishing you peace, love, and light. Keep up the great work and I hope your health gets better.
@@earthglow I love this limited edition you’ve created, you are very artistic in many ways 😊. Next time I visit the US i will order some of your candles.
I enjoy watching you make your candle holders. Maybe I missed but how do you get gold shimmer on them? Do you seal them with something. I am just now starting out making candles so I am learning a lot.

Hey Allen, i love your work. Im from Bangladesh, i have some queries, please help me out. 1. You use only normal gray cement or anything specific? 2. Im going to use plaster of paris and white cement 1:1 ratio, is that fine for durability and shipping? Or i should use only cement? 3. Earthsafe sealer isnot avaivale here, instead of this what i can use to seal my candle jars? 4. Whats type of color you use for cement pigment which i can buy from here? 5. Is it necessary to pre heat concrete jar before ouring wax?

Do you make the jars? If so, do you seal them? I’ve been having such a hard time finding one to pull the trigger on. . . Just hobby candles, but I still don’t want them to crack😂

Thank you! 😊
Also, where did you get the mold for those?
have you ever tried Calwax's EC26 Coconut Soy blend? Was the scent throw as good as Ceda Serica & Soybliss?
Hi! I have not tried this wax. Thanks for asking!
