Away vs Ipswich, cold and a long journey home with no points

- Sky Blues travelled to Suffolk to take on Ipswich who were 2nd in the table prior to the game starting.
Robins chose to change a winning team claiming that 3 games in 7 days and travel to 2 had taken its toll.
We didn’t start well going 1-0 down after 6 minutes, and going in 2-0 down at half time. Credit where it’s due, Ipswich’s move for the 2nd goal and the finish too were superb. Had a PL team scored that goal it would have been all over the news.
Unfortunately we missed a penalty with 20 minutes left which would have made for an interesting end with City on top at the time. Charlie unfortunately decided to delete the video of the penalty because we missed it 🤣
We did manage to get a goal with the last touch of the game, but to be honest it was probably a fair result although based on a better 2nd half performance you could argue we deserved the 2nd goal but it wasn’t to be.
Ipswich stay in 2nd and will be there or about come the end of the season if they can keep that level of performance up. We slip down the table a little but a few positives to take and a home game against Blues next.

Thanks Liam, always try to be honest and Ipswich are where they are for a reason. We gave a better account of ourselves in the 2nd half but fell just short.
