@@waynegreen7634 We should be good with DeGrom and Mahlre joining Evoaldi, Scherzer, and Gray. Then when Bradford returns, drop him and Heany down a spot into one of the first ones out of the Pen and they will be OK. What I'm worried about is the hitting after Semien, Seager, and Smith, now THAT is the real issue.
@@colemanjr Josh Jung is almost back too… Adolis, Heim, Langford and Lowe just need to get back into their grooves for the rest of the season to really help keep us in the races

@@haydenthrower4710 absolutely getting an all star slot at 3rd base is tough. But compared to Isaac Parades who is the backup third baseman I don’t see a world where Josh smith isn’t above him. I know the rays need a rep but I can’t help feeling he earned it over parades.

An important series win for the Rangers especially against their rivals the Houston Astros
Ronel looked great today but the lineup went 0-6 with runners in scoring position today, hopefully they can get past that because we have a tough schedule coming up after the all star break. The Astros are still in a great place to make a comeback after the first half but the division race is gonna be interesting. Good game Rangers

He has power the other way, but it's gap power where he can use his legs to his advantage. If he does hit it the other way with power it's usually splitting the center and right fielder and he's off and running!!

It didn't matter but why would Espada select R. MONTERO? He had 3 pitchers that were rested and ready....and the Allstar break ahead. He makes too many bone headed decisions at critical times. He can't possibly do go in the playoffs....he's barely average

Rangers are gonna have to pick up the slack and take advantages of those walks bevause they cant be leaving those ducks on the pond and expect them to score on their own. Yes the pitching and bullpen has been good all year but the offense needs to wake up and help them out. Personally I would like to see the Rangsrs go get a bat at this deadline to help balance out that lineup because I dont think Josh Smith can play DH everyday.

Bergman is paid to ground out to short and advancing the runner from 3rd to home or second to 3rd is apparently not taught by Astros coaching. How is this going to look when these bozos need a freaking run in the playoffs and they forgot how to play small ball. Even little leaguers are able to execute the fundamentals. Don’t come crying to me when you can’t advance the runner. Egotistical bullshit. Astros management used to execute small ball and Joe Espata is answering for this fully.
