I operate a 4100D Groundsmaster and I notice that alot. When I am mowing the big field near a helipad, I mow North/South. The next time the big field is mowed it will be mowed east and west. I don't know why the discharge chute is angled towards the main wheels/tires. Stains the wheels. When there's dew on the grass it collects on the front tires. Gotta have traction. I never mow when it is actually raining. I may have to leave when it starts raining. A light mist is nothing.

I like the 4000D better than the 4100D. The 4000D has the decks on each side and independent of each other. They're both nice Mowers.
I agree the toro grounds master 4000d is way better
I have discovered that the groundsmaster cuts better going in reverse instead of driving forwards. It doesn't leave any chunks of grass behind.
Is the grass too high or the mowers too low?

5900's run way better.
Maybe because it's a big difference in price range don't ya think?
