Only other person ive seen with such power in the voice was Luciano Pavoritti. Loved her concert. She was amazing as usual and a legend in her own lifetime.
A great woman with great talent, that survived so many obstacles including domestic abuse, yet prevailed like a hero. She inspired many to keep going and not to give up. So nice to see such respect being shown in a dignified orderly manner. I have been lucky enough to meet her at the Piccadilly Club in London (1980's) and also seen two of her concerts. She was a real powerhouse with an unstoppable energy, just when you thought the show was over she would return to the stage in a different costume and carry on, the audience were totally mesmerised by her sheer power and talent, a talent which will never be matched. I remember as a teenager in the 80s when I first heard her name..TINA TURNER..her song..who she was and my uncle got up and started dancing! He was mesmerized and in awe that this lady was belting out this song that had become a hit practically over night!.. What's Love got to do with it.. Yelling out her name Tina ooohhh Tina Turners back!..She was our singer back in the 60s!..I was staring at him like huh?..then I asked that question..Who's that uncle?? As I honestly had never heard of her..And that's how I come to know about "The Legendary Tina Turner....Now here I am 40yrs later standing in my uncles shoes telling my grand children with sadness that Tina Turner has died who she was and how famous of a Legend singer she was.....Her music will continue to play in my house and in my memories and will always take me back to the 80s era of my youth..When music came alive for us youths back in the day💜

I remember as a teenager in the 80s when I first heard her name..TINA TURNER..her song..who she was and my uncle got up and started dancing! He was mesmerized and in awe that this lady was belting out this song that had become a hit practically over night!.. What's Love got to do with it.. Yelling out her name Tina ooohhh Tina Turners back!..She was our singer back in the 60s!..I was staring at him like huh?..then I asked that question..Who's that uncle?? As I honestly had never heard of her..And that's how I come to know about "The Legendary Tina Turner....Now here I am 40yrs later standing in my uncles shoes telling my grand children with sadness that Tina Turner has died who she was and how famous of a Legend singer she was.....Her music will continue to play in my house and in my memories and will always take me back to the 80s era of my youth..When music came alive for us youths back in the day💜
