For anyone interested, the put-in flow-rate for this trip was 17 m3/s (on 16/1/2014, as the combined Acheron and Clarence at Jollies)
    [Thank you Mark!]

Greetings from Germany 🤗. Very nice video from you. May I ask how much a packraft costs in the US? in Germany they are very expensive.

Sorry for slow reply. Started to reply earlier but forgot to finish it. I am actually in Australia and here we pay $1500-$2500 AUD which I believes equates to 1000-1700 Euro. Certainly expensive but suspect similar in both parts of the world.

Nice! What brand of extra large dry bags are you using? Or are those dry bag backpacks? I'm looking for something to fit it Osprey into, but maybe I have to get a different backpack. Just got my Nirvana SB and headed to Colorado.

These are Watershed Animas backpacks that are pretty much 100% dry (if you look after them). They fit well inside a Hyperlite Mountain Gear pack and will likely fit inside some of the Osprey packs too. They are an ideal size, particularly if paired with a larger pack so that you can carry paddling.wet gear as well as keeping your essentials dry. Most of the time these days we use Alpacka cargo bags instead so that we can put them easily inside the packraft tubes however the Watershed bags are still best for some situations. Enjoy Colorado!

@@MarkOates Thanks! I got the tiZip on the nirvana (wait times were too long at alpacka), so I'm planning to use the tubes too. Good to know that has worked out well.

    Hi Mark,
Mark here, A friend and I are looking at doing a trip along the Clarence over a week in November, Myself in my packraft and him in his kayak. I was wondering if we could have a chat some time to get some hints and tips off you. I'm based in Palmy North this year and if you guys are ever up this way I'd love to catch up, maybe even join you on a trip some time.
    Cheers
    Mark
