Wow...That's a helluva nice compliment buddy! I truly and I mean TRULY appreciate that! Short, to the point and has delivered a great message to me. Thanks a TON!!! There have been a few tell me I'm long winded at times, but that's just me. I'm a social introvert and don't get out much, so I tend to release through my videos. Cheers!! Stop back ANY TIME my Friend!
I've got a 3416H also that I got for free with a good Vickers Hydro and a good 16hp Briggs. Right now it's partially torn down due to a cracked oil pan ear. That engine is in one of my videos on my test bench. Great machines!!!!
Hi James. The best thing to do is place a wanted add on the Simpletractors web sight or Michaelstractors web sight. They're both dedicated to these old machines and the guys there are always very helpful. Just be sure you post in the Classifieds section. Best wishes with your new tractor! You'll LOVE it once it's ready to be put to work. Cheers!!
Thanks Bro! Just checked out your RC Pulling video. Man....that thing has gone Viral! over 3 million views. Who would have thought that eh? Take it easy Bro and thanks for the Kudos! Cheers!!
hey zippo, love your tractors and I have watched most of your videos, lots of good tips and how to deals on here, I used to own a 71 3416 hydro Simplicity sovergne, loved that tractor, ill post pics of what I have now, I have the original 16 hp briggs motor that came on the 71, still runs, just smokes under a load at operating temp, kept it in case I found another, keep the videos coming, and thanks for all the help...Tim ---Southeast Missouri Mule
I wish there would be an update on Zippo. I check several times per month but so far the last video was 6 months ago. Zippo please post something I hope you have not had a down turn from your last video, please let us know.
The drive belt is not installed correctly. The B207 is a two forward speed and single reverse gear set up. To fix the problem, just flip (twist) the drive belt opposite of what it is now and you should correct the issue. Hope this helps! Cheers!
Zippo, I just been going through some of your vids . As always there great. But I like that 725 and your squire. Not sure but that is one of my favorite tractors. More vids are always great keep em coming Later Bro
They will, but you will need to get a set of rims that have a large offset to the outside of the wheel for them to fit properly. On line places are easy to find the tires on. Just do a search for garden tractor tires and you should be all set.
Nice to see the fleet all outside. By the way, Its not that Im not watching your Governor video, it wont load for me, I'll try it later! Glad you like my blue rat rod idea! I really like the yellow AC's And those rib tyres! I want some of them. Those bridgestone ones? Didnt take long to get a stack on that little simplicity either! Great video Sean
Hey Kidd! Thanks for the compliment! I've had some come through like that. They just HAD to be painted...but I always get offered crazy money and sell them...lol. As far as hub caps for your broadmoor or other 6-8 inch wheel machines, keep an eye on ebay. Just search mower hubcaps. Thanks!
@theXfactor9821 kartwheelsonline dottt commm. They are 8.5 inches wide (at the beads) and the of set is full. That simply means the welded in dish is as far back as possible on the ring. They are made for the larger industrial zero turn mowers that use high flotation tires.
Thanks! And......for the most part, I purchased them from Kane at K-morrow on eBay. He is very knowledgeable with the best tire for your application and his prices and shipping are very fair. Cheers!
@Ram2253spd I started out with just a 2 car garage. Then the neighboring property owner decided to sell and I jumped on it. It's 3/4 of an acre with a 35x25 pole barn on it. That is now my man cave...lol. The garage is finally housing the automobiles instead of all my hobbies. Thanks for the comment!!!
Hi zippo my name is andi fa scotland i have a broadmoor 738.Iam trying to find about the history off this tractor as am trying to restore it to its former glory. As off yet i have had no joy with trying to age it or track down spares for it.I have tryed simplicity in the USA but no joy as off yet.You are my last hope off finding out anything about this old lady off mine as you seem to be very knowledgeable about all things simplicity broadmoors cheers andi
Thanks 350! I shrank the fleet some last year but it appears as though it's going to increase again in the near future. Stay tuned for additions to the fleet!!
Depends on which snow blower you have to install. Go to Simpletractors dott comm and the guys there can help you identify which blower you have and subsequently, determine your needed pulley size. I hope this helps! Cheers!
I just bought a AC416H that has been 20+ years inactive.. no idea what I have at this point. She is crusty. Im afraid of that hydraulic pump and the hydrostatic rear end ...what have a gotten myself into ?!!
I've got an early 80's model Sears GT18 garden tractor. I also have an early 60's model Simplicity brand moldboard garden plow. My problem is how would I go about getting the right type of hitch connection attachment on the Sears GT18 so that the Simplicity moldboard plow will connect up ? Getting a Simplicity brand draw bar hitch would be easy as they are on ebay all the time but how would I go about getting it to attach to the mounting plate on my Sears GT18 ?
+Stan Wilson Hi Stan. There are a lot of dedicated collectors sights and groups on the internet who's members help keep us supplied with the obsolete parts our machines and their implements need. More specifically, check with Brenda at Sandylakeimp dott comm and tell her Zippo Sent You. Also, Simpletractors dott comm, Michaelstractors dott com and numerous groups on Facebook. Happy Hunting! Zip~
Hi Andi! Go to simpletractors dott comm. All the information you could ever want to know about your tractor can be found there. I've sent you a private message regarding the owners manual and manual for your engine. Cheers!
Hey zippo, I got me an allis chalmers b207. I just recently restored it. Just today Ii put my snow plow on and went to drive it around, and 1st and 2nd are reverse instead of forward gears. Yet, 3rd works just like it should. Got any ideas on what's wrong?
@ZippoVarga yeah the only reason i restored my cub was because it ahd already been restored (repainted, engine rebuilt, ect) but then it had sat in a feild for 15 years so it ran like a dream but didnt look so nice
@honda6442 Your best bet is ebay. Then check for local tractor bone yards in your area. You'll need to have your parents help you out on ebay if you find stuff you need there. Other than that, my tractor forum dot com is another good place to post classifieds as well as craigslist Good Luck!!
could you do a video on tranny rebuild i just got a really early model that needs to be rebuild witj bearings and seals but cant find any info on it here in Denmark
I don't have any tranny rebuilds coming up any time soon, but you can get the PDF files on these directly from the Simplicity web sight that can help you along the way. Splitting the case and replacing worn parts is pretty strait forward, and if you're good with a wrench, it should only take you a couple of evenings to take care of the bearings and seals. For more guidance, go to Simpletractors dott comm. There's a ton of great guys there always happy to help out. Cheers!! Zip~
