I appreciate settlements that naturally blend in with the given environment, such as fixing up the pre existing shed and using the wooden bridges to traverse the water. Good work 👍👍👍
This is a good build. I also made this my Mercer Safehouse. I didn't make a town, I made the most camoflauged, tree covered, greenish looking structures I could while still having beds, workstations, and storage rooms. It's where Danse hides out, but he likes his creature comforts so he's got a power armor station in a big shed with a big bed basically to himself, with green paint and overgrowth for some camo.
A well planned and executed settlement build. Great job with the lighting decorating. Placing items by hand is a real challenge, yet it really gives a settlement the lived in look. The Insane Slecklador has truly given vanilla builders a wealth of great information. Thanks for sharing what you have created. 👍🖖
Thank you for watching and commenting Jet! Yes, I owe Sheck a lot in terms of skills I've picked up. And yes, hand placing items can get tedious. I'm sure one day I'll try to use some version of OC Decorator or something, but for now I'd like to keep building in Vanilla and then maybe start using mods on my next play through.
Oh, I wish I had seen this before I did my Nuka-Cade. Slot machines are a perfect addition! 😃 And the amount of building and just stuff everywhere...utterly amazing. A LOT of work went into this and it shows! Fabulous build, and great tour. Thank you so much for sharing this!
You really embraced the landscape with this build Benson, Without covering it up. Very Nicely done !!. The lower water areas with slightly different levels really worked well. Really like seeing your tricks used such as the grill and the General Store front. But I give a -1 Happiness for putting a shelf so close above the Caretakers Bed. 😂
Wow. That looks amazing! Really lived-in area. All lit up and full of details which make it feels cozy and secure. I'd like to visit it myself. Especially when there-s Deacon walking around :D Great job! You inspire.
A lot of people hate Murkwater but I feel it's one of the more interesting places to build. Looking forward to seeing your version of it. 4:40 I like this little porch area. Looks like a nice spot to hang out and smell the roasting molerats. 8:07 Looks like the bartender over served that dude. 8:25 That's why I love Murkwater. Look at that view of the buildings and walkways over the water. So nice. 11:55 A rooftop garden makes a lot of sense here. 15:10 Hopefully those are Covid patients who lost their taste and smell. I wouldn't think smelling a months old rotting crab would be helpful in recovering from other things. 19:25 That's a pretty good job of hiding the entry in plain sight. I didn't expect it until you turned the corner. Nice job on this build. Especially all the junk decor. Merry early Christmas 🎄and wishing you a great 2022!
The one on the table, I actually ended up finding it, for some reason I thought they would be in furniture or decorations, and I never bothered to check electricity. Bummer it comes on the desk though as I wanted to use a different desk with it. @@BWTF_Ben
Thanks for watching and commenting! The answer to your question really depends on the specific location. Smaller builds may take 1-2 weeks. Spectacle Island however took me about a month! :)

Love what you have been able to create with no Mods!
good build and i love paul from skooled zone, great person to get inspiration from.

Thanks so much Chuck! I really tried to not "fight" the environment but rather flow with it. I'm glad that came through in the build! :)

Thank you very much for watching and the kind words. Deacon LOVES swapping out those outfits doesn't he?
@@BWTF_Ben yep. He does! I nearly killed him several times. Mistook him for a raider sneaking around.
Great build and tour Ben! Thanks for sharing. I love how Murkwater looks complete and built up well. Nice touches with the synth railroad safehouse.
Thank you! Given the sheer scale of your builds I take this as a high compliment! :)
Excellent build! Love how well integrated it is with the locale and existing structures.
Thank you Curt! Appreciate the watch and kind words. :)
I don't think people realize that you have to find or buy all the materials for these builds. This looks great!

Bloody awesome mate, some great ideas there 😊
That’s really impressive. I can’t even get the warehouse walls to snap around the dang shed let alone get a roof on it.
Very impressive indeed. 👍🏻
Thanks! There is a specific method for it. Check out The Insane Shecklador's channel to see how he did it. :)
Really nice job.
Thank you kindly!
Nice stuff man and with no mods!
How did you make the terminal in the caretakers shack?
Do you mean the smaller brown one on the desk or the white one?

I love your builds and tours. How long does it take for you to build a settlement and decorate it?

Where is that colorful lights bulb from?
It’s the Cycling Light from Wasteland Workshop. fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Cycling_light
Nice
Noob question; how do you build multiple bars worth?
I used to play on PS4 so I got into these vids but now my PC is fixed and I use tons of mods. Where do you recommend me to go now?
Bet you had to clear out that vertibird behind the sentry bot before shooting this video.
How did a cat ended up in your settlement?
