I've never felt the need to comment on a video before but that Dough tip at the end honestly blew my mind. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of guru cooks don't know about that.
Here in 2022 just returned to BDO after aa long hiatus and wanted to start cooking. Thank you for your time and information on cooking. This was some of the best guide video series i have watched. I hope you continue to release videos!
Really weird commenting after a year but I have always had this series bookmarked while learning cooking. Just yesterday I hit G48 in cooking while using the tips I picked up in these videos, appreciate the effort in these videos and can't wait for my profits to quadruple once I hit G50 :)
I been playing for almost 2 years always got online to grind over and over every day because I never understood cooking till I found your videos bud thank you my hands can rest finally
I'm not even close to getting to master let alone guru however I loved this video series. If you make any more series for different life skills I'd love to see those too.
I had pushed the cooking leaderboards about 2 years ago and hadn't cooked since. It has been really enjoyable getting back into it following these guides! Thanks for posting these and I hope you keep doing so! I've watched all of your lifeskill videos so far and look forward to watching your future videos as well.
Thanks for these videos, I've recently came back to the game after being burn't out trying to maintain AP for PVP - You have made this game more fun than I can imagine, thanks dude.
Thanks for this guide! To reciprocate, if you want some free wolf meat right now and happen to be in the Olvia server (maybe others work too, but I'm not sure), just go to the starter area (north of Ancient Stone Chamber node) and spam R on dead wolf corpses. The amount of new players in this zone makes them spawn every 3-4 sec and no one gathers them :)
U forgot to say to get tet manos gathering tools and cloths, with tri manos jewels, with 360-400 energy which is a softcap u can gather lots of meat and other mats
Just watched the whole series, man this is hard I dunno if im cut for this :( im just trying to make some imp crates for extra profit daily and so overwhelmed. thank you so much for the tips tho, esp. towards the end some real knowledge dropping! also i enjoy ur stream!!
Thanks! Also you can just focus on the big push to Guru and purchase the meals for easy income, I strongly recommend getting that far as the income stream alone is worth the time.
Loved this video, i am cooking a lot myself and your video sure game a few tips i didn't think about :D A lot of it, i do myself, i also have cooking sheets and sheets for other lifeskills :) From the early days of BDO i've been a Grinder and focus on PvP, that is still fun for me but i really love lifeskilling these days, playing the market, and.. most of all, just having a hell of a good time in BDO :) Much love brother
@@karaoke_bqv No, but its way easier to buy/get materials for alchemy than for cooking. The amount of shit you need to gather for those cooking recipes is just stupid. If you are not full time life skiller, its not rly worth
You are amazing, thank you so much. I appreciate all the work and thought you've put into it. I'm surprised your channel is as small as it is. As for what's next? Maybe alchemy? Or a more comprehensive guide to trading? I've seen tons of them around, but none actually had a break down like your cooking one. Although if anyone can direct me to a good recent trading guide I'd appreciate it.
I was thinking of working processing up to money crates for the next big series. I'm going to take a break and do some more gathering videos before I start that one up.
You should mention profitability is an NA only thing. Entered the King of jungle material costs into bdodae and it ended up with a 11k loss per burger. Figured it might be an exception so I tried 20 other recipes and absolutely everything ends up in a loss. Not worth cooking for money on EU only XP
Unfortunately a lot has shifted in the market since this video was initially posted, but utilizing all the tools provided along the way you can keep an eye on things to see if its worth in the future =]
I’m currently g38 and turning in daily boxes for profit. However, I’m cooking so much (I only cook and gather atm) to the point where I just sell around half of my meals to the marketplace cuz I just can’t wait for the imperial limit. Is this normal? To put into perspective, I do around 250k-300k meals per batch, and end up selling 100k-150k of them and by the time I run low on them from turning in crates, I’ll have enough to cook another batch. I know this isn’t the most silver, but the daily limit just makes my meals stagnant in my storage.
the xp display are clearly wrong. with about +277% xp through buffs, i shouldve gotten higher ranks way sooner, which i didnt. meaning, either the buffs displayed arent stacking (trust me, they do, i double checked those), or the xp gain per dish from the list i got is wrong (its way lower), or the amount of xp needed to reach higher rank is wrong. cause when comparing the numbers and estimating the time and amount of cooked meals needed to reach a higher rank clearly dont match to the numbers
Check out Warflash's cooking calculator: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Sdq9WjlxpvdxCFFsn7_BW3yzBnj4cYsFeHlT-nxeMew/edit#gid=0 Also if you proc 4x meals in one cook, you don't get 4x1600, you get 1x1600. It's based off slot, not quantity - just like gathering.
@@aiRstylez i didnt even take crits into the equasion, since they happen randomly, therefore, i shouldve still had gotten higher and faster level ups, which sadly and clearly wasnt the case.... but ill look that up, thx for that link
best life skill channel, any chance to do a guide from zero (no manos gear etc) to get money by life skill? alot ppl start the game because is free right now :P, maybe idk 10kk a day by gathering or cooking beer etc (for exp players 10kk is nothing for new players help alot)
oh goood why u sell it thoooo.. baalenos and mediah meal for i better keep it for guru box transfer, atm literaly making 1M per box with 60%+ extra profit
They aren't too bad, I personally just buy whatever dried fish is cheapest. Theres a few fish nodes off velia/olvia/epheria that are close enough if you want.
Heya i qot a question, do you get exp per cook you do or per dish you make? for example when i cook a dish worth 1000 exp and i proc a 3 dish do i get 1000 or 3000 exp for that one cook?
@@aiRstylez i dont know what that means, for the example i made does that give me 1000 exp and 3 dishes or 3000 exp and 3 dishes :S sorry for asking, love your videos though!
Equivalent XP rates by my calculations. It's a lot harder to do with low mastery, you'd need at least TET manos accessories and FULL buffs to do this from actual b0.

Ty for getting my interest in cooking... love the complexity of organization of it. and thank you the amazing explanations and tips

I'm making my final push to guru on my next day off and i was thinking, "What next?" This video gave me some ideas. Thanks

So many thing to do in this game, thats why I love it ^^
This is great though its a lot of information to digest ill learn slowly. Wonder if free crons are gonna set the market value of meals low in cm

i use 3 potato dough instead for 5 for cheese gratin and it would fail from time to time, why is that?

When you say use a musa for gathering , was it for his dash or his aoe attacks or both?
Anything, his point is actually max your class potential when it comes to gathering.
What outfit is that bro?
The intro was Pavela and the outro was Da-da-dum. Canape for everything in the middle

Absolutely a necessity playing in the market in anything, really

Just dough unfortunately, flour is still 1:1

Im farming for XP currently, but if I was it'd be pepper/hot pepper
