Gorgeous as always!! Thank you Aggie! I have to wonder what your lamp is like. The darker gels either take 2-3 cures of 60 seconds or they just don’t cure all the way for me. They stay wet in the middle. I have used a 37 watt and even a 75 watt lamp. I’m at my wits end! Thank you for your time with us! Have a great new year!! ❤🎉
What? Really that's so weird? Is it one particular brand you're using, even a mini 8w lamp should cure in 60 seconds?
You're not talking about the wet tacky layer that gets left after curing are you? Sorry if that's patronising but some people that are new to using gel don't know that gel leaves a wet sticky layer after curing that you wipe off.
@@UnpolishedbyAggie Thank you for replying! No ma’am. One wouldn’t know the middle was still uncured. I discovered it when I was filing them down. The ends of the nails looked like the cross section of a jelly filled candy. It happened twice and I just gave up on darker polygels. Thank you for your time!

@BubblesMcGhee have you tried turning your hand upside down in the lamp and giving them another full cure from underneath because I do that especially with darker colours.

Aggie! Would you mind showing how these hold up longterm? I can't seem to get my Apex right using the dualforms and they always break with the modelones polygel almost immediately/within a few days
If you feel like your apex is not thick/strong enough you can always add another layer of polygel after you take the forms off although you'd have to then file them into shape and smooth them out again. Or maybe do a thin layer of clear builder before top coat to add more strength?
It's difficult for me to do wear test's because obviously I've got content to create, sorry.

Can’t you just use full cover nails as duel forms if you don’t etch the inside of the nail?
