Thank you for this enthusiastic post. The credits, of course, go to the makers of these wonderful films. I am just trying to collect them and make them public. The online museum where the films are also discussed and explained is called www.dutch-vintage-animation.org It is particularly concerned with the work of Joop Geesink, who continued George Pal's work in the Netherlands after World War II.
The website is managed by me as sole volunteer. Behind the scenes, I am working to completely rebuild the site. Over the years, many new archives have been opened and I have been able to obtain several films in high quality. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to document and substantiate everything properly, but keep an eye on the website in the coming months! To be continued....

George Pal's first movie and his first foray into the world of stop-motion animation. Joop Geesinks worked on these film commercials for European theaters, at his studio in Eindhoven, Holland, in full 3-strip color, in the postwar era/
George had a contract with Philips Radio in, Holland from 1936 to 1939 to make theatrical animated radio commercials.

      Thank you for this comment.
Some small details: Joop Geesink never co-operated with George Pal.
Joop Geesink did realise that Pal's animation technique had a lot of potential.
After Hungarian-born George Pal fled to the United States in 1939 under the threat of Nazi Germany, the studio was left without management. Its biggest client, Philips, in Eindhoven, ensured that many creatives left behind could continue to develop their skills elsewhere. This can be attributed to mr Sies Numann, Philips' director of advertising. Once WW2 came to an end, many employees were put in touch with Joop Geesink (Amsterdam). Because Philips trusted Geesink could also start making beautiful puppet films.
Hungary had its own variant of the 3-band colour film system. That system was called Gaspar Color. Because of its connection to Hungary, it was a logical choice for George Pal to work with this film system.
After the war, there was a shortage of everything, including (colour) film. From 1947, Geesink was able to work on the Technicolor system.

Yes, George Pal was ahead of his time. But more beautifully animated commercials were made for radio sets. Think of Pal's "Sleeping Beauty" (1935) . Joop Geesink also made a master piece 10-minute film: "Kermesse Fantastique"(1951).
Be sure to check out our website www.dutch-vintage-animation.org for more puppet animations.

It just might be, but have you ever seen the puppet film ‘Kermesse Fantastique’? It won many awards and made Joop Geesink's Dollywood instantly world famous.

I love the music! I was imagining in my mind palace, and thought that I thinked about the 1930 short film "Super Mario Galaxy", created by Gavin Brown (that's me!) and distributed by Radio Pictures.
    It was like this:
    0:15
    RADIO PICTURES
    presents
    "SUPER MARIO GALAXY"
A Cartoon created and directed by GAVIN BROWN
    Produced by WILLIAM LEBARON
Copyright MCMXXX RKO RADIO PICTURES INC.
    All rights reserved.
    AFTER THE CARTOON...
    7:06
    Radio Pictures
    THE END
    7:16
    Cast of Characters/Credits

1:46 Excuse me, but i found a error. The scene where the sailor cries "Hoi!" was late. It is supposed that the sailor shouted when he pointed at the floating trio. Also that i love George Pal and some Joops too!

This essential discovery, almost 100 years after the making of this pioneering film, will completely turn George Pal history on its head. 🙂
