  • In this video I take a pile of hammers and give them a worthy home! Hammer Storage has always been a struggle in my shop and you end up with drawers full of hammers and can never find the one you are looking for when you need it. This storage solution allows you to access all of your hammers at a glance instead of hogging much needed drawer space.
Bassador Woodworking is a small shop (currently occupying a two-car garage) specializing in woodworking projects and DIY problem solving utilizing many vintage tools. I rarely work from plans and always challenge myself to use scrap materials. Projects usually start with a picture in my head but no map of how to get there. This channel aims to share tips and tricks and develop a community of makers helping each other solve problems. This channel is about taking an idea, making it a reality, identifying a problem, working out a solution, and building yourself into a corner with no option but to figure out a way out.

Nice job. Plenty of space for more hammers. 👍 A hammer storage solution is on my list of things to do.

What happens when those small hand sledges 1/4 turn and your toes are in the kick space? Love your chop saws! Have my dads old leather stack curved claw Estwing. Thin the herd. You don’t need that much redundancy. Put some of your old friends up high on the wall like trophy heads.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I ended up mounting it to the wall shortly after making this video.

Put my retired Estwing 28 up on a wall in a worn out hammer loop to survey the shop. Plumb 13 curved claw is my EDC. Who needs a huge high $ framing hammer with pneumatic tools in the same price range? Bragging rights!? Straight claws rule the market and seem to also serve as pry bars. I have Granfors bars for that.
