- Rich tributes were paid to the the martyred Assam Rifles personnel at the IMphal airport a short while back. Chief Minister N Biren Singh along with top Assam Rifles officials was present at the wreath laying ceremony.
A Colonel of the Assam Rifles, his wife and 6-year-old son were among the 7 killed in yesterday’s cowardly ambush in Manipur’s Churachandpur district.
