PLA, MNPF MILITANT GROUPS CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FOR AMBUSH AGAINST 46 ASSAM RIFLES IN MANIPUR

- People’s Liberation Army and Manipur Naga People's Front claimed responsibility for the ambush against 46 Assam Rifles in Manipur. The proscribed revolutionary People’s Front Deputy Secretary, RPF publicity Roben Khuman and Assistant Secretary publicity MNPF Thomas Numai on Saturday stated that the cadres of PLA and MNPF who carried out the attack had no information that the commanding officer’s wife and son were in the convoy. Furthermore added by saying that Indian security forces should never travel with their families at a place which has been declared as a disturbed area by the Indian government. During the attack, six Assam Rifles personnel, Commanding officer 46 Assam Rifles Colonel Viplav Tripathi were killed while several others were injured

Lord, you should have save his wife and son atleast ,, the colonel on the other hand is a soldier who died in the line of duty. Only if 46 AR will accept a volunteer to avenge all the deceased personnel , colonel and his family on that fateful day, I will be the first to accompany the soldiers on patrol . Rest in Peace martyr's. The culprits will soon join you .
