This one right here! Have struggled with headaches and now migraines for over 15 years. My recent chiropractor justed this very area, it relaxed my traps instantly and automatically re aligned my occiput. 😊
Mr Gibbons_ sharing your intimate knowledge of healing arts is much appreciated.. really helps folks like me better understand aggravations in cervical to thoracic region which were once an annoying mystery - your teaching method encourages ordinary types to challenge themselves/keep learning more about their anatomy, preventing sufferers from being duped or mislead by the less knowledgeable.
I was stretching one morning, seated on the couch. I was slouched over. I felt tension on my right neck. I rolled my head right, when my chin was to my chest, rotating my chin to my right shoulder. I heard a loud pop, and it felt like it was my CTJ. I have had less arm pain this week. My shoulder isn't as pinched. I didn't have to touch anything with my hands. I have been working on my right neck for 2 years. I think i have released each vertabrea by myself, c1-c7 and even my own si nutation, and lumbar. I'm now working on opening up my thorasic areas.
I had surgery in 2014 c5 c6 . I've managed pain thru exercise and pain meds. It was caused by a go cart accident. About 6 weeks ago I woke up had burning sensation in right forearm and very hard to move neck to right. Had an Epidural in the C-7 T-1 area. The Epidural lasted 10 days before it wore off. Having an Mri next week to get a better idea of what's occurring. Thx for the exercises to do. Much appreciated..
Thanks for the message and sorry to hear about your neck, my sister also had surgery for that area of the cervical as well and she has issues below the fusion. Hope things improve and i wouldn't personally do any exercises for the neck as you will easily exacerbate it, regards JG
@@JohnGibbons Thanks for the advice on not doing exercises. I'm looking forward to getting my MRI next week so I can develope a solid plan. @@JohnGibbons It's easier said than done. I've had this lock multiple times, and there are absolutelu no one in my area, who can manipulate it. I've seen two chiropractics, naprapat and two "limb correctors" (basically traditional type soft-chiropractic/bone setting). Only way out of this is massage, pain medicine and muscle relaxants. Then it will go away in few days or weeks. One time I managed to self manipulate it but I'm not sure how. I remember I massaged it first, then used foam roller on that area, turning my head to different directions, alternating pressure by lifting my body up with my feet (hard to explain). I'm sure it was potentially hazardous, but it helped. Now I haven't got this issue in a year or so. Btw. I love your videos and I can't believe you don't have more subs and views. I have been to 14 Chiropractors in over 30 years and no matter how I explain it, they have huge egos and don;t listen. None of them have done this to me. They have their routine and refuse to listen to the patient. No matter how I research it, I can never find anyone good. Again, it is their egos that are the issue.
Exactly, going to most chiropractors is a hazard since they are applying a "one size fits all" adjustment routine to most every patient they see, and can irritate nerves in the spine where there was NO previous problem before the visit
