Seriously, is inspiring to see people like you going out of their way to make free tutorials and give back like this! The effort you guys have put in shows and I don’t know how anyone could not appreciate and support you guys! Awesome, I feel like even I could do a hook kick now
Thanks so much, that means a lot! We hope what we're doing inspires positivity and continues to promote the values of martial arts in the Tricking community!
This is a great initiative. I give MAT lessons and I know the students are going to love sinking their teeth into this. Good job in advance guys, I know this'll change the way new talents get into tricking forever.
That's exactly what we're setting out to achieve, and hope to accomplish. Thanks so much for the words of encouragement! Hope your students enjoy and your lessons go well!
do you guys mind if i ask how you get into form for this type of thing (not the most agile person in the world) because its looks awesome and i'm really pumped to see if i can learn it but not sure what exercises to start of with and how to build up flips and jumps.
Hmm. Backside and frontside are usually labelled as stances and not set ups right? The set up is really a pop.. unless you'd classify it as a transition. Either way, this stuff is great! Loved seeing the k-step in slow mo from Andy. Keep up the good work!
We consider pop when you complete a trick, land on two feet and take off directly into a frontside or backside trick. Remember, the info here is how we use it, there are many other different MAT doctrines. And thanks man! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video!
dudes this is awesome and i love it but after a year of tricking and not being able to jack knife is that me being slow or is it harder then then where to start...
The jacknife is kind of difficult. Everyone says to get a perfect 540 down first, and once you do, throw a hook kick after landing on your kicking leg. Take it easy too, you have to be very flexible to throw a perfect jacknife like Guthrie's or Sheehan's.
Hello guys i really struggle on doing tricking, i dont really know what to do, im in taekwondo white belt i play 3 times a week and im 13 does it lead me to tricking? Plz help me thank u
There are no front, side and back flip? Those are basic foundation too, into flipping techniques such as cart full. Cork and gainer would take some understanding in backflip.
I noticed that too. They are only covering the Martial art moves like kicks and such. That's why they put the aerial under capoeira rather than gymnastics
MAT hub I actually realized shortly after that this video was the actual video of an introduction to setups. I thought it was a teaser to tutorials for each set up LOL.
Sad to see this channel didn't amount to much, would've been really helpful :[

Say I have a body build sort've like Brian's, would that bring along any difficulties with anything if I were looking into getting into tricking?
If Brian can do it, so can you.
