hello Erica Rae How are you? I just wanted to know if what kind of spoon you need to make tarts and melts wooden spoons or metal spoon or kind of spoons?
What type of wax are you using ? soy wax ? I can't find the right type of wax for wax melts. Do you have to mix it up with Coconut Oil like some of them ?
I warm my wax up to 230-240 degrees Fahrenheit. As for the FO, it depends on how cold it is in my studio. I would say I pour my FO in at around 200-210. Its normally a bit chilly in my studio. If I let my wax cool down much lower than that, then I have a hard time getting nice smooth edges on my melts.
@@veronicamorris3968 for one yeah and any additional just doubles/triples the shipping.. it was ridiculous lol. but they're on amazon now and free shipping so we don't have to buy from the UK anymore :)

Just a few hours. Then I let them come to room temp in the mold prior to popping them out.

HI Marisa! I use silicone spatulas now to stir my melts. I find its much easier to use and clean up after.

I use Pro Blend 650 from The Flaming Candle. Its a great mix of Paraffin and soy wax. It comes as little beads for easy measuring.
Do you heat your wax in a double boiler or in the microwave? I looovvvee the pumpkin ones!! Good job.

Super nice where did you buy your rectangle mold.
I found that mold at www.siliconemoulds.com, but its really hard to get. Keep checking their website often to know when they will restock them.

I haven't had any issues with my wax melters.
