    Hello humans!
This is my version of Tony Allen & Hugh Masekela's "We've Landed" , from the album "Rejoice". They are both some of my favourite musicians of all time, and both legends in their respective fields.
I have had the honour of playing live with Tony as part of Africa Express a few years back, but this drum track is courtesy of THE purveyors of killer live drum multitracks..DRUM-DROPS!! (hit the link below for their full menu)
For those that are into this sort of thing, I am recording into Ableton Live thru a whole host of nature & third-party plugins. Feel free to hit me up via DM in one my socials for details
Oh...and if you like what I do, then please 'Like & Subscribe", and you have a track that you'd like me to do a cover of then please get in touch via my socials :)
    Peace On!

How are you making your trumpet bend notes and envelope like that? Very cool man. Got here from Mike's Slack.

Hi James. Thanks for your support, man! I have a pretty long FX chain on my trumpet in Ableton. The envelope is done on the Auto Filter. I set it to a bandpass filter, set the envelope to about 3 o'clock, then automate the cutoff. I then have a UAD Moog Multimode doing a LFO sine lopass filter on it.
As fo the bends, that's my lips and tongue! :)
