Good video! The Flylady system was very valuable to me while I was a SAHM when my children were young. I used it only as a guidance though, and build my own routines. For example I didn't like the load of laundry per day as I also like to separate the laundry. I did laundry and ironed on Mondays and Thursdays. As I live alone now, I do my laundry now on Mondays only. I liked the reminders to take meds, hydrate, to move my body and go to bed at a decent hour. In defense of lace up shoes: they are not just more difficult to take off, they also protect your feet and keep them more sturdy. To this day I put on lace up shoes when I have a lot to do.
Yess! I still put on lace up shoes as well! That and a bra 😜 for some reason both just make me a much more productive homemaker! 🤣 I love how Flylady built in self care tasks to her routine, they are so crucial!
Just found you and so glad to be here. I have tried FlyLady and it is indeed time consuming even for a SAHM. Am interested to see a day in your life using your routine and how you incorporate family life in the whole thing x will be binging your previous videos to learn more about the domestic daydreamer xx
