For a movie that's almost 30 year old... Those ripple effects and sound still gives me Goosebumps every time I watch
Those were achieved with bass guitar strings being plucked under the car, made those perfect ripples in the cup
I believe I read somewhere that that's a 12hz stomp. If you've got a decent subwoofer(s), this is amazing to actually feel in your chest.
@@jonathanbailie My surround sound with a big woofer hears this and shakes the house down its awsome.
I’m the same age as this movie. Born a month after it came out
One of the most iconic scenes in all of movie history. None of the sequels ever came close to this.
For a film which was released in 1993, the VFX quality was much ahead of its time. 🦕
Totally agree I still watch all three of them to this very day
There was a lot of practical mixed with cg.
@@Matt561 سنيرز جميل جدا
If you want to see something incredible look up the making of Jurassic Park documentary. They literally wrote the book on photo realistic CG. The movie was originally going to be stop motion animation for the dinosaurs until they saw a test clip from ILM of the T-Rex in CG.
that its because dont use the screen green for everything like today in every movie,
Amazing how this scene from 1993 still feels intense and inspires awe. The 4K conversion is just icing in the cake.
😂
I remember watching this in the theater back in 93 and my legs were shaking when this scene started. At 10yrs old, I was in awe and terrified. A reaction I will never forget.
Haha lol these movies will never die
Spielberg's films never get old.
When the T-rex steps out i the rain on the wide shot and roars for the first time; personally I think its the greatest shot in cinema history.
.....and the finale roar at the museum as the banner floats right past!!!
Yes! To both comments!!!
A single shot that announced a new era in visual effects.
Classic! My mother took me to see this in 1993 ! We were scared as hell ! This movie 🎬 changed the game 💪I was 7 years old
I worked the projector at our movie theater when JP came out. It was the first movie since Star Wars that saw consistent packed crowds almost every day. I always perched myself at the lookout just to listen to the gasps and screams during this scene.
That would have been fun hearing all the reactions.
Still awesome! I remember going to watch this movie three times in a row back in '93 as a 13 year old kid! Only movie I've seen more than twice in my whole life and never regret it 💯❤️
This movie never gets old. This really is a masterpiece.
What a story ❤️❤️❤️ it never gets old 💓💓💓
I can't imagine experiencing this at Carmike Cinema 7 North Little Rock's DTS Auditorium. That theater had the loudest DTS sound I have ever heard (I saw 'Star Wars Episode 1' in their DTS Auditoriums and if that big BOOM noise from Star Wars's explosions were intense, then I cannot imagine what T-Rex's roar must have been like in there).
That T-REX sound is the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in my entire life 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
best sound scene of all time
I still remember exactly how I saw the film for the first time in the cinema. The film was way ahead of its time, the effects amazed you, the sound gave you goosebumps, what a cinematic experience. I worked in a video store at the time, we had 150 copies to rent out, they were out of stock for weeks, you can't even imagine that in the age of streaming.
Easily the best entrance ever in Jurassic Park
T Rex is both the protagonist and the antagonist of Jurassic series....Can't have it missed....It has its own charm
Heeeeeeeeeres JOHNNY!
TA-DA MOTHER EFFERS
Such an epic cinematic moment!
That Rex has swagger!
I remember going to the theater to watch this when it was released in 1993. My all time favorite movie.
I think this movie and other movies shot in the 90s are far beyond today's movies in terms of both action and editing. I'm still trying to find and watch movies that I haven't seen in the 90s.
Everything was more real in the 90s. It was not as digital and empty as the productions of today.
I agree.
I've been doing the same, The 90s were great
Most people don’t know this but a small company in the 90’s that went by the name *silicon graphics* where one of the early pioneers to help develop the Jurassic Park movies along with other 3D related things and realistic CG and CGI for movies
"Small company" making advanced graphical workstations for movie production... Also very good CRT monitors for the time.
My first PC had an SiS 32 bit as iGPU at the mobo -it was 2007 or something- it was able to play halo ce at 10 fps, nice for a budget PC
@@wil-fri What does that have to do with Silicon Graphics? Also, my first PC was 8 bit (not to mention the programmable calculator). It had a magnetic tape deck for the storage. But all of this also doesn't have anything to do with SGI.
WERE not where
This is called
Perfection
The sound design was equally impressive.
One detail i really liked is that the Rex actually checked out the fence if it has electricity in it
I prefer living 20 years back when such masterpieces came out.
Um I think you mean 30
@@ET2carbon i wasnt born 30 years ago
Still the best scene in movie history. Perfect in every way suspense build up cinematics sound animatronics cgi everythingn
1993 and VFX are incredibly realistic, absolutly masterpiec.
**an absolute masterpiece*
This is not full VFX it is animatronics
This was the first movie to be released in digital here in Australia and boy what a great experience it was!
So pleased Odeon released this in cinema a few years back. Got to watch it on the big screen.
I was 7 months when this movie dropped still love it til this day. Jurassic world doesnt come close to this classic.
There's a reason why this is a classic. I just wished the sequels and Jurassic World series had as much heart and effort as this 1 movie.
@@karltee7862 no movie or tv shows now have the effort that movies in the 90s had. Mostly Everything just a remake now its so sad no originality nowadays.
@@ahshitherewegoagain.5861 There are some originals still. It's just studio executives know that nostalgia sells. So they go for that to tug at our heart strings to the movie goer.
Anyone who didn't see this film in the cinema as a child in 1993 really missed out. To date, my most impressive experience in the cinema. This scene brought the audience out of their seats. It's unbelievable how good it still works and looks after 30 years. A milestone in film history. Fun fact: This 30-year-old technology looks much more realistic and massive than all the modern CGI-only Dinosaurs in the new Jurassic Park films. Actually unbelievable.
Now that's what called a Real Badass Entry 🔥
“Turn the light off. Turn the light off.”
ah ah ah avec un casque focal a 1200 les gars j'en ai plein les oreilles 😍🥰🥰🥰tout simplement génial j'avais 10 ans quand j'ai le vu la première fois indémodable ^^ 😍😍
Best scene of the entire franchise , this is what they should always aim for ! Blom blom blom goes the water 💦
Without Jurassic park movies, hollywood would be incomplete
Obviously!!!
may 150 to 200 times watch this Movie.......love the movie eny time

This scene was wild back in 1994 in cinema. I love this movie.

Love this channel and content, keep it up 👌
NO film grain. This is gorgeous.
Detail has been scrubbed off with film grain using dnr... And youtube shit compression shows artefacts
Oh wow I never noticed the goat making noise going down, it's not just me hearing that right
Keep up the good work bro
That T-Rex looks very real than JW
Where’s the goat. Best line in the movie.
And “Life finds a way”?
Listening on my LG V40 & turn on dts the sound was incredible
It has everything other than hdr
this is the best 4k channel.. and it is surprising there were 4k cameras at that times too
This was shot with real film, not a digital camera. Film has extraordinary visual quality, which it benefits from if transferred to a 4K digital format like this.
Don't need to be shot in 4K, when you film a movie unless you're using a digital camera there's no resolution, it's simply being recorded at highest for the camera on a film,
the thing that needs to be set is the aspect ratio like 16/9 or 4/3 then there's format ratio like 1,33:1 for 4/3 or 1,77:1 for 16/9 or 2,35:1 (sometimes those formats will take up all of your screen or end up creating black bars at the top and bottom or the sides, for example 4/3 leaves huges bars to the sides while 16/9 depending on the format ratio can give you no bars at all or only at the top and bottom... but back to the point if you record on film with a great or excellent camera at the time you can do a FHD, QHD or UHD transfer, the only thing that will impact the clarity is the film grain but there's stuff and people that are specialized to remove a bit of the grain or make it more clean when viewed at higher resolutions, it's called restauration..
the more time passes between the old release and today the more chance you have to see the film like never before (unless you went to a theater at release i guess i can't know since i never went to see an old movie at the time because i wasn't born but even nowadays theaters really have a fucking good looking screen and the films are like filmed at 8K or idk but here's the problem if a movie is filmed on a digital camera that is recording at 8K the one and only master will be 8K and you won't be able to go higher if one day we out reach 8K which means that we will have to upscale it instead and for now uspcaling can't do magic contrary to film).
ok friend. film is a print which in digital eq is upto 64k res. nothing is better then film.
"When you gotta go you gotta go...!"😂😂😂
This sounds great on my car subs lol also the vibration was made using a big ass bow string under the set.
A Milestone in Moviehistory.
The best scene of the century maybe ❤️
This felt like Bigfoot was walking
I know this is nitpicking, but if you could fill up a canteen by holding it in the rain, you wouldn't have to worry about tyrannosaurus rex, you would have to worry about sharks.
This is amazing with my 360• sound earbuds. 😮
This looks amazing on my LG c2 OLED
Earned a sub.+like! Love it!
This is the most intense scene ever in a movie.
In 1993 this Much of VFX Quality is Superb 😊
It's a pity in any game with dinosaurs such as ARK they don't use these sounds for the dinos, the're amazing!
Even my entry-level 100$ totally awesome soundbar rendered the sound in the sequence very well!

Jurassic park is my 1st movie in theatre from my school
This must've been amazing watching at cinema.
I was born in 1994 so I couldn't see Jp 1 or Jp2 u.u
I am born '72 and saw it in cinema at least 4 times, couldn't get enough!! And God is my witness, EVERYTIME when T-Rex run after the Jeep my knees were like butter trembling like crazy! Never had that before, never since so strong was the first impression!
@@henrikrulofs9636 and how about the audience? how did they react?
I saw this in the theater, and Independence day. Was good to be a 11 year old kid back then.
I have the DTS verison…though it’s not 4K but I’ll watch this version anyday because of the audio
Amazing
Cool sound
Is that CGI? No, they build the entire robot! It was fun to see that 20+ years later!
Parts of it is cgi, when it is fully visible and movine its cg
OMG 8k HD videos
One is the scariest parts of any movie I've ever watched. From a kids perspective...
A legandary dino entered the movies.

The links at the end ruined the scene :((
Links are important for the channel, but I've fixed them now. They won't pop up until the dinosaur is gone. Thanks for pointing out.
@@4KClipsAndTrailers you have these suggestion pop-ups happening every few seconds, it's terrible. It's like watching something on a friends phone and their messages keep popping up. Basically ruined this. Add time in the beginning / end of your video edits to do your adverts and such, having any popups during the actual content is poor professionalism.
after so many decades now i can saw even that rear view mirror is shaking.
