I took my wife to see him perform in Napa with his trio. He Dedicated the shoe to Jim hall, and we spoke with him after the show. He was a kind and gentle soul. I miss this sweet guy....
Bruce Moeller
Jim is such a great player, he probably deserved both shoes.
God bless Larry, that was amazing
Miss you man
I got goosebumps!
Fearless!
Wonderful
Great!!!
Wow! Amazing. Anyone knows what’s that guitar?
Larry and I were friends. I mainly spoke to him at concerts. I saw him many times. Bolero was always different and always amazing.
Saw Coryell a few months before his passing. Capable of Godlike performances like this, then a few minutes after willing to shake your hand and say Hi. What a Man.
Ludwig van Beethoven: “The guitar is a miniature orchestra in itself.”
Me, "Well, if it's Coryell, yeh"
Even so, look up Robbie Basho.
I recall watching Larry perform this back in 1986 in San Francisco with his Ovation 12 string. RIP Larry!
Only one Larry Coryell. Still blowing the doors off of the competition.
LC fans should check out the EXPO92 version of this. Brill, and actually better!
WOW
It’s a custom Parker. One of 2 that he had. This one is named after his wife.
Man! A guy I had forgotten about... I owned several of his albums in the 70's but had moved on. Glad to see he's still got it in spades. THANKS!
Go LARRY - Ravi & Maurice would be proud!!!
Passion for real!.....Larry is cool!!....thanx!
Rest in peace, Ol' man
RIP Mr Coryell
Beautiful
Just pure soul
Yay Larry Coryell. Miss him. This is great his son is on stage with him. I saw Larry in Seattle he played for us and our Buddhist culture center. 1990s
Great chops. Also quite thoughtful and articulate about his work.
Pure Heavy Metal Klassik
