BREKY, LUNCH & DINNER IN ARG, BRAZIL & PARAGUAY! 1 Day in Van Life

- Опубліковано 3 чер 2023
- Three meals - three countries - ONE DAY! Our plan is to wake up in Argentina, ready to cross into Brazil, and end the day with dinner in Paraguay. Is this too much for one day? Probably... but we're going to try anyway.
I wouldn't say this is the perfect way to spend time in three countries but it is definitely a fun challenge - especially after the all the coffee and yerba mate. As long as we get back to the van in one piece!
So... Do you think it's worth it??
See you Thursday!

Thank you so much for joining! 💜
Welcome to Brazil! Brazilians are very friendly and even if they don't speak English they will try their best to help. Enjoy your stay.
Brazil is amazing!! 🇧🇷🎉
Thanks!
Que ricas media lunas! ustedes me hacen reir. Saludos de un argentino en Canada.
De verdad!! 💜💜 Nos encantan!
Awesome, amazing and splendid ❤❤❤❤ congrats for managing 3 countries in one day 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much for joining us Sam! 💜💜
Congratulations for this great project, ❤
Many many thanks 💜💜
Glad you took a cab to get back to the van, that was a good idea because it got dark. I think anyway. Thanks for sharing.
After walking by that selling area in the daylight I definitely didn't want to see it at night! 💜
I don't know if you already know this information, but they are making that new bridge between Brazil and Paraguay (the one close to the ferris wheel) so they can reduce the traffic of the other bridge you've crossed.
Love this😊
Thanks so much 😍💜
Epic!❤
Thanks so much for coming along 💜
That was fun :-)….
Thanks for coming along 💜💜
That was quite an accomplishment. Nice videos, you two ate well. I really liked the areal ride.
Thanks!! What a crazy day 🤯🙌
That was an awesome day. I think from the walk from the bridge the good area was a bit scary. Fantastic site from that gondola or whatever it’s called. Three countries in one day is not something you see everyday. Take care 💕🤗🙏🦋🐈
Thanks Pat! Ya that area was a bit scary! Glad you enjoyed the views 😁🙌🇧🇷
Wow! Great video! You must have been exhausted after visiting three countries in one day! Looks like a great time! Excited to explore Brazil with you 😊
It was crazzzy! I loved having a solid plan
That was a busy day for you all, and exhausting I’m sure
Yes, it was a long day, but it was definitely worth it! We got to explore some amazing places and meet some wonderful people. It's all part of the adventure!
Please tell me you guys will push up to Bonito and the Pantanal. The Transpanteneria and the jaguar tours of Porto Jofre was one of the biggest highlight of my 6years on the panamericana
That sounds so amazing!! 🤞🇧🇷🎉
Brazilian currency is pronounced Hey-ice. Looks like a fun day.
Thanks Jennifer! We are learning slowly but surely!
Actually this pronunciation is for 2 or more 'reais'.
When it is one 'real' the pronunciation is something like 'hey-all'.
When the 'R' is the first letter we pronunciate it like the 'H' in english. The same pronunciation for 'RR'.
Examples:
Carro = car
Real = real
Rato = rat / mouse
In the States of São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Mato Grosso the 'R' in the middle of the word or at its end is pronounced very close to your pronunciation in american english.
Examples:
Porta = door
Fazer = To do / to make
Caro = expensive
Barato = cheap
Super = super (same word and same pronunciation)
CH is pronounced like SH in english.
Example:
Cachorro = dog. Pronunciation is kinda like 'cashoho'.
Enjoy Brazil and stay safe.
Great video guys, watching you from rio grande do sul state. Here we drink our mate hot and here is called chimarrão.
Great to hear we have some Brazilians on here! What an amazing country you have! 🇧🇷🙌. Gotta try that chimarrão
So odd to see that cash is still being used in some countries. Paperless border crossings seems quite normal though for us Europeans.
True true. Cards sure are easier to use. In Brazil credit cards can be used almost everywhere. Whereas in Argentina cash was the best value. Mannn we look forward to vanning around the EU one day
Most European countries are now reinforcing intra-Schengen borders that were paperless just a few years ago. Sort of sad.
The biggest is not the 100. There’s a R$200 Reais one.
What do you do to make sure your pets are OK in the van while you are at dinner or shopping?
If it’s hot we make sure to park in the shade or we might change our plans to not go. We have window inserts to pull in outside air without a security threat or letting them escape. Inside the van we have both the intake and exhaust fans on and a little fan going to circulate air. We make sure to let them out before we leave and tire them out a bit. We give Sombrita a busy toy like a Kong or a dentastick. Usually they’re sleeping when we come back 💜
the closed caption is off and it said Arkansas instead of Argentina...yaay Arkansas!
😂😂😂 Thanks! I'll fix it
Are you guys passing through Curitiba?
Ya! What’s up?! 🙌🎉
Visit morretes by serra da graciosa 😊.
Use The touristic bus, and visit the curitiban parks
Brazil is a dream for me. I’m excited to go there with you! ✌️❤️🚐
I'm excited to take you! Brazil is so so so nice 💜
