Well appreciate you tuning in man, and thanks for the inspiration. Will be brave and give it a try, but I wanna watch more of your vids (offline) to get the intel first :P Respect!!
@@xaap8408 benny was and will never be his master,he simply helped Phaserunner got popular in a video, that’s all. That’s not what master mean, and Phaserunner was already just as good as Benny so yeah
i asked him about not using layer masks and this was his response "For client work I'll use masks etc. but for speed-art it's more about finding a good flowstate and throwing caution to the wind :)"
Mostly this guy is just using straight, non-varied hues, so no reason not to just use eraser, if he can just paint straight single-color pixels back into the layer, no reason not to do that. When they start, most people work non-destructively. But more confident with the painting tools, eraser or “clear”, which can now accessed easily with a shortcut while painting. - it’s quicker to erase now, Rather than having to click on the layer mask and back again.
Met his work at Benny's Halloween edit war where he became the winner. One of the best outthere. He thinks different than the common ppl. Halloween edit: While ppl were busy with the house on the hill as main object. PhaseRunner focused at something else. Even using the sky as a glowing part is amazing (thinking). My fav. work: Hidden Doorway.
The answer to the HAT he is using. It is originated from Vietnam, not China, it is called Non La. Non la is made out of such simple and available materials as palm leaves, bark of Moc tree and bamboo. It has a history of 3000 years, very popular in rural area of Vietnam, not so much in urban area. Phaserunner really made the hat so much more epic than its original image and usage. :))) . As a vietnamese, I am so proud to see him used this traditional hat of ours.
Phaserunner is a type of guy who goes destructive and capable to restore what is destroyed. I feel like I'm watching and be amazed by a mad scientist doing his casual work
@@PhotoManipulation yeah :) Check out Imad Awan next time. He also goes with pretty similar style of workflow. I grabbed his style of clipping masks. Very useful
PhaseRunner can do no wrong. The amount I've learned from him in such a little time speaks to his mastery of Photoshop and immense creativity. Forever chasing his standard haha
What a fantastic UA-cam channel to find, I’ve been eager for ways to learn new things but watching speed art can be in one ear out the other, so I greatly appreciate your knowledgeable breakdown/reaction. Brb going to binge your channel now.
I love his episodes, it is one of the most popular videos of Phase Runner but for me it is not the one where we see his techniques the best, any case the neon hologram technique was interesting to see.. A great 2nd episode on a talented artist with a great relevant analysis, as for Benny
I watched it from the beginning until the end! Another great video Dean! This was something that our niche was missing, so thank you for making this type of tutorials!
These art works are so well done, I actually begun using exposure for my shadow layers aswell after seeing the reaction video on benny's work from here, really enjoying the videos 👏
Love PhaseRunner's stuff. I think he really started blowing up after winning a Benny Productions competition. I could be wrong though! Don't hold me to that. So great that he's a fellow Brit as well!
Guys, this simply motivates me more to continue advancing in the photoshop edition, I will build a NEON Art to see what you think about it, a big hug, greetings
Hi there. Hoping you have the timing answering my question. Im not rich but I want a subscription for Premium stock photos. Which website do you recommend? Ty
You don't need to be rich :) If you can spare 30 bucks a month or about 200 per year, then I would recommend you using Envato Elements. Apart from photos, vectors, music, SFX, video, or templates for many editing softwares, it has even got 3D assets which you can choose an angle to "render" in .PNG, perfect if your project has a lot of perspective work. Also, Benny and PhaseRunner, as well as other popular UA-camrs use and recommend it.

The biggest inspiration of mine @PhaseRunner 🤩
Dang..
This guy is 100% one of the best Photoshop artists on UA-cam right now.
Hard to argue with that!
@@PhotoManipulation One of my favourites is the underwater space women jelly fish one. (cant remember the name of the video.) Lol. Check it out man. 👍
And benny production on youtube ! 😋 two Best Artists

DaGauntlett, he definitely has a lateral way of thinking, really evident in the techniques he uses and the art he produces. Excellent comment :)

With pleasure, and I have the same feeling, that of being slow I put 6 hours or 10 hours for an image :-D
Phaserunner still is extremely underrated
I consider him to be one of the most beloved PS artists out there today, but there's always room for growth! :)
Phaserunner is the master of photo manipulation. He can do anything
He certainly is a BEASTTTTTTT
He is my favourite artist out there. Always amazed by his skills.
We really do appreciate his work!! Awesome!
I never miss a PhaseRunner video! But I feel you. I feel so slow as soon as I hear how quickly some people work 😅
You're so awesome following / supporting our channel Kris, thankyou!! (Dean)
Yes Phaserunner it is! .👏
BOOM!!
I watched it from the beginning until the end! Another great video Dean! This was something that our niche was missing, so thank you for making this type of tutorials!
REALLY appreciate the awesome comment Valentin, can't wait for our collab mate :)
Great video. Love how you're honest about your own techniques / work and the respect you show for your fellow artists. Excellent stuff.
Really glad to hear you like the vibe of these videos Jay, well appreciate the comment :)
Haven't seen your videos before. Thought this was an interesting watch. It's nice seeing one pro watching and calling out things another pro is doing.
What an awesome comment Al, thanks for stopping by - glad you enjoyed :)
Love Phaserunner; but also love your reaction to his work. It really helps to have someone in the know disect things - thanks.

You are right, b4 he had less than 5k followers I think and after the win he went sky up
@@gasenos6067 I thought as much. Totally deserved though. Sometimes it just takes that one thing to bring someone with talent into the light. 👍🏻
From what I recall, that definitely seemed to be a big break for PhaseRunner :)

Such an AWESOME comment Juan, well appreciate you supporting our channel
great. i like
Thankyou!
Ooh, I would love to see what horror neon piece you'd come up with, Dean
Hells yeah Mikki! Quite excited about the prospect of trying that :)
this is so fire
So glad you are enjoying the content!!!
Very nice. According to his channel, he uses a Wacom Intuos Pro medium
VERY helpful, cheers for that David! :)
I want to learn this kind of photoshopping! Where should I start?

I'd overlooked that rushing to get the vid out, thanks for the headsup Daniel - on it right now!!

Thanks so much and we intend to!!!!!
I worked like this right from the beginning of my works.
Thanks for the insight!!

@@PhotoManipulation yep yep. im not as creative sadly. but been thinking to do a vfx/live retro rpg short video a try. lol *sounds a tad strange*

I've threatened to do it, definitely got to give it a try. Thanks Julien! :)

Good reply from The Story Machine. I think one of the lower priced sub sites (like Envato) is a really good starting point :)
wonderful commentary there.
So glad you dug the format and maybe more of these for the future!! Cheers!
@@PhotoManipulation found it quick and sharp and to the point. You both know your stuff.

Not too sure on that one Simon

recker, how old is the Valhalla speed art, do you know? :)
Sorry for the late reply but its about a year and half old

i like to see IMAD AWAN work bro. his so crative digital artist can you react on his video ? please
A lot of requests for Imad Awan for sure BG. Put his name down on the list! :)
O que é mais difícil é encontrar imagens para fazer as artes, vc procura uma imagem específica por um nome e nunca acha parecido kkkkkk
It can be difficult but when looking for stock you really have to be patient, but the results should be worth it!!! - Matt
i think he use the old good fashioned mouse to make the lights
