A look at Henry Stanbery, first Attorney General of Ohio and the lead defender of president Andrew Johnson at his impeachment trial.
This is intended to be a detailed look into the life of an early 1800s historical figure who like many of that era was well known at the time, yet who is now only found at the margins of today's history "narratives". The intent was to go beyond a wiki-type survey and consider as many documented, original and contemporary sources as possible to build something resembling a basic biography.
I hope you find this video interesting, but I also hope that it serves as an objective look that could serve as a starting point for additional research. I believe that there are many more historical figures who's story is worth preserving so that we can better understand our past.
