the books: 1. Bright side by Kim Holden 2. Things we know by hart by Jessi Kirby 3. The confidence of wildflowers by Micalea Smeltzer 4. Underneath the sycamore tree by B. Celeste 5. Pack up the moon by Kritstan Higgins Ps: I love your video's 🥰
For me, almost all the books that makes me cries turn into my favs. I think it's because I'm not a person that express emotions very well, so I get really emotional when I can feel through a book how the characters felt in some difficult scenes.
Please don’t feel like your videos are too messy or disorganized, because in reality you’re the most real booktuber and it’s so nice to watch someone who is so honest and genuine 🤍🤍
Pack up the moon is really well written. I’ve never cried so hard this way, it is so magical and so tragical at the same way. It really is magic on how some books can really influence you❤
I just found your channel today and I have been BINGING ❤ you are so adorable and your videos have been lovely ✨ I’m finally falling back in love with reading as an adult now, after multiple years of reading maybe 1 a year if that 😭
Please do another installment of this! Loved hearing your thoughts on these books! I’m a tough cookie to cry over a book so I’m excited to try these already downloaded 3 of them. 🤭🫣
Hey Destiny!! I had a video idea but I’m not sure if it’s as good as I think it is. Maybe you could do a vlog where you read books by authors with the same name as you
Hey beautiful 💗 Just wanted to tell you that I love you & your videos 🥺 although I’m not a romance reader but i love watching you talk about them! Your videos just make me really calm and i always feel really good after watching them🥲 Hope you’re having an amazing day 💘
Someone else has read Bright Side! It's practically my all-time favorite, if I can possibly label such a thing. It's made me try to live and think differently. The sequel Gus is also amazing, it starts with pain but puts you back together, brings in a new love interest & some previous characters come back in a lovely way. The 3rd one is Franco which I still need to read. Also recommend: Making Faces & The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon (more favorites, layered & more than romances). Full Tilt duet by Emma Scott if you haven't (Emma's The Butterfly Project is a much less sad standalone with a sweet happy ending but also emotional healing points). Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher. Another top fave of mine, but MV isn't for everyone, being a romantic slower paced thriller that's really about character growth and painful life situations but it's so beautifully written. It's tragic at times and can be triggering but it's made me think about a couple things differently.
Isn’t there 3 books in the Bright Side by Kim Holden series I believe book 2 is called Gus and book 3 is called Franco so maybe they will put your heart back together. Idk tho If they are connected or just 2 stand alone books abt characters from Bright Side.
Not related to this video, but is there a "secret" to how you manage to stay so happy and energetic? I like books but lately I can't even find the motivation for reading.
Hello, Destiny!!!Bright side series, Pack up the moon and Things we know by heart are definitely in my TBR list!!!! I always cry with Emma Scott’s books and I am ready to read the Full tilt series❤️👍🏻 Kisses from Europe 🍀🦋🔆
oh my gosh that same thing with the pages coming out right away happened with november 9th with me!!! it was soooo annoying, i thought it was just me!!!
I just read pack up the moon and I loved and rated it 5 stars too!! But I'm still tryna figure out why it's titled Pack up the moon 🤔 And there were errors in my book 😂
The saddest book I read I was orbiting Jupiter by Gary D Schmidt it’s about a 13 year old boy named Joseph brooks who gets put into a foster family and is on the search for his baby girl Jupiter 10 out of 10 🥺❤️
I actually love really sad books. Idk how u could read that many sad books in a row tho. 😭😭😭 I have to strategically arrange my sad books between romcoms and lighthearted books. Lol
The Bright Side was the most saddest book i have read . I read it because of Steph Bohrer. I bought the bright orange book and you would have thought it be the happiest book ever and i was walking around crying holding the book .
❤️🔥YOU HAVE TO READ “If he had been with me” BY LAURA NOWLIN! ITS SOOOO GOOD. 🔥🔥🔥MY FAVORITE SAD BOOK OF ALL TIME!!! I even made an aesthetic video for it and posted it on my youtube page and on tiktok, the author even liked it on tiktok and favorited it! Its honestly such a quick read, read it in 5 hours, best book of my life🥲
Laughing so hard at your disdain for The Confidence of Wildflowers, “then don’t have one🙄”. I also don’t like age gap stories and I think it’s because my parents were the same age. I have friends who love/don’t mind age gaps and their parents have bigger age gaps so I’m curious if that actually plays into it.
“Reading 5 of the saddest books” *chooses The Confidence of Wildflowers* Girl, what is that? No one cried to that book 👺🤚🏻 me and my friends gave it one star. You want a sad book? One that will make you cry multiple times and will break your heart in many different ways? Read the second book in the Ravenhood Series.
“I haven’t cried yet and I don’t know if that’s going to come.” *starts crying*
the books:
1. Bright side by Kim Holden
2. Things we know by hart by Jessi Kirby
3. The confidence of wildflowers by Micalea Smeltzer
4. Underneath the sycamore tree by B. Celeste
5. Pack up the moon by Kritstan Higgins

Not you dropping this video while I was casually browsing UA-cam sobbing😭 I love you you're an instant mood lifter for me
Please don’t feel like your videos are too messy or disorganized, because in reality you’re the most real booktuber and it’s so nice to watch someone who is so honest and genuine 🤍🤍

I’m reading pack up the moon and I’m almost at the end and it wasn’t sad for me but I could see how others could be
your room is so cute. and i loved the video
If you want to read a really sad trilogy, I recommend the Breathing series by Rebecca Donovan
You should do this again but definitely read Orbiting Jupiter
Not related to this video, but is there a "secret" to how you manage to stay so happy and energetic? I like books but lately I can't even find the motivation for reading.

The Bright Side was the most saddest book i have read . I read it because of Steph Bohrer. I bought the bright orange book and you would have thought it be the happiest book ever and i was walking around crying holding the book .

Hey Destiny! I was wondering if you could make a “reading lgbtq+ books” in June (Pride month!)
the word you were looking for is commend!
“Reading 5 of the saddest books”
*chooses The Confidence of Wildflowers*
Girl, what is that? No one cried to that book 👺🤚🏻 me and my friends gave it one star. You want a sad book? One that will make you cry multiple times and will break your heart in many different ways? Read the second book in the Ravenhood Series.
Does anyone know the age rating for bright side? Like is it spicy?
it is not! i would say if you you’re over 13 it’s good
Are sad books always romance? I really dislike that genre so i guess I'm incapable of sadness.
💖
Omg hi!
