I guess he thinks it should be balanced instead of having 1 level being super hard and the rest being easy. Or he thinks that a level being too easy or too hard are both bad.
It’s because the hardest level in the game is in World 9, which is supposed to be the hardest world in the game.
It took me four years to beat this game.

Well. I don't like how easy the game is and I still hate world 9-7. The difficulty should be balanced. The worlds from 7 to 9 are my favorites compared to the rest of the worlds

I see the Mid-Castle fights as a reference to Super Mario Bros 3, how they fight you by casting spells and spin in their shell when they get hit. Once defeated, they learn that what they tried in the past hasn’t seemed to work, so they change the battle conditions with Kamek’s magic and the Castle fights are all different.

I’ve played this game since release consistently and is my favorite 2-D Mario game. I’ve been apart of the speed run community for it and played plenty of fan made versions of it on my Wii. This is the FIRST time I’ve ever noticed that the doors have the d-pad on it with arrows! I can never look at this game the same😂

The thing that always triggered me as a kid is that player 1 gets stuck playing as Mario, meanwhile the other 3 players get to choose whatever character they want.

U should know that:
-It only says new because mario bros came out for a new console with new gameplay.
-Having a star equipped lets you instantly take out an enemy on the map, where you would normally have to battle for 3 mushrooms.
-Rescuing Toad from item boxes is never a waste...
-Bowser baked the cake, and created hiding places for 8 turtles, not 7.

I played this game a Lot when I was a Kid. No joke. It felt fun.
As of now I'm 17 Years old and the game is now making my anger level increase because of the hard levels I played or when you have to save a toad on a hard level that you were screaming your head off earlier.
