For those commenting on his German accent I think you will find his (Paternal) Grandmother was of German/Austrian Aristocratic descent. he tells a superb story of his Grandmother scaring the crap out of him whilst reading the Three Bears fairy story in a strong German accent. have had the pleasure of attending half a dozen of his shows and never been disappointed. Brilliant comic and a very intelligent man.

Growing up I never appreciated or liked al Murray’s comedy or humour but now as I’m older I understand and find him absolutely hilarious and not to mention how clever this man is with his jokes 10/10

I don't think many people know that Al Murray is a qualified Historian who attended and graduated Oxford University and can if memory serves speak fluent German. He is a very smart Individual and knowing this at least for me makes the Guvs comedy that much more funny.

The biggest reason for Al Murray's success is because he writes some of the cleverest material on the circuit and delivers it in a way that is the simplest and funniest. He shows off without being a show-off. And he's naturally hilarious, he never looks like he's trying too hard
Apart from the time zones and the ass-fucking, what he says about financial markets is basically true. It’s more about confidence and belief than it is about the underlying reality. And probably ass-fucking.
What a fantastic night out this must've been. Al's such a great storyteller. A good music gig sends you home humming tunes; Al's audience would have been driving home shouting "WHAT THE F*CKIN' F*CK?" into their mobile phones... I hope nobody was pulled over by the police. :-)
