This was Felip's first Wish Bus solo. He was nervous at first and Pablo and the boys were behind the door to the studio giving him encouragement. As you see more solos from him on the Wish bus you see the progression of his confidence. Now it's just another day for any one of them.
He was very nervous here but the boys were rooting for him. They talked to him behind the doors prior to this performance. Stell kept on making funny faces to help him relax. This won for him the Wishclusive R&B Performance of the Year Award.
And to think Felip sang this in Bisaya, his 1st language. Unless you're a native speaker of the language, this is so hard to learn and understand. He is just so proud of his roots.
It's mind-boggling how as good as he sounded in this performance he's even more improved now.
Also this is in Bisaya, one of the major languages in the Philippines.

There is the making of Bulan. The first episode was about the writing and production and it was really interesting.

He was awarded as 2023 Wish Bus Best RnB Performance and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
The thing with Felip what he feels like doing he goes for it. He sang in his dialect which is Visaya. It is so rare for somebody in the mainstream and a known PPOP group to come up.with something like this. They even have to make a tagalog subtitle so we could understand it sometimes it feels lacking when translated into english.
He truly is a wild card of the group the last one to be a member. His growth is so surprising that he keeps reinventing himself and get away with it. It is the surprise factor that gets me he may look like the coolest guy but deep inside he is a very warm person.

Same! It started only because I wanted to see the first video Hurraira discovered SB19, and then it snowballed from there. And my binge-watching is 8 months after this post 😂😂😂
Hahahaha. And guess what, i am here. More than 1 year after I started binge watching Hurraira’s rv. I started re-watching her first reaction (Tilaluha Round Fest) last Saturday because I need a fix to this SB19+Hurraira addiction. 😅 And now here I am. Hurraira is just soo adorable.
PALAYO & BULAN with LIVE BAND is 👌
You really have a good ear as you were able to identify that Felip wasn’t singing is Tagalog. Visayan has a lot more “o/u” vowels and so vocally it must sound rounder. Tagalog had a lot more “a” vowels. Felip elevated Visaya in the industry with this song. It’s my favourite among the ones he released as a solo. He isn’t my bias because I love all the boys equally (though I have a softer spot for Pablo because he leads them so well) and so I can (I think lol) objectively say this.

Oh Hurraira, you must react to every track in the discography of Felip! These are the evidences that he is destined for global superstardom. Nobody in the international scene now quite like Felip. Maybe you have reacted already to "Palayo" and "Bulan" MVs on the side, so it will be a treat when you see Felip's Superior Sessions with live band on these two songs in one video on his channel. He also has live performances of his tracks in his EP Complex in these Superior Sessions. In the tradition of SB19, all the member's solo works are excellent!
This naturally leads me to request you to see Josh Cullen's work. Josh with his R&B vibes on the song "Sofa" (a collab with his cousins, pls watch Wishbus live performance), and "Pakiusap Lang" MV and Wishbus Live. Hiphop/EDM tracks "Wild Tonight" with MV and Wishbus performance and "Get Right" (unofficially released, I think, but with very good video from fan cams during his fan meet). "Wild Tonight" really was a big debut for Josh. It also has dance performance and dance rehearsal videos, live Tv performances, etc. It's a healthy competition among the members (and they are fully supportive of each other). But Josh really did give Pablo and Felip a run for their money. 😉😊😄

This is a Visaya dialect, one of the islands here in the Philippines.The language though of the Philippines is Tagalog.Felip is from the Visayas .

There are over 170 dialects and sub dialects spoken in the Ph.
Philippines has so many Dialect , but Tagalog is what we usually use in order to understand each other. And that's right, that's not Tagalog itz Visaya.
This isn’t Tagalog, it’s his native language, Bisaya. There are subs in Tagalog too in the MV because while it’s a widely spoken/understood language in the Visayas and Mindanao areas, not so many in Luzon understand it well.
