*do you know how CONFIDENT you have to be in your VOCALS to perform LIVE with minimal backtrack and no splits using handheld mics?!!!? and SB19 as per usual did not disappoint. the members never seemed intimidated by the challenge of performing LIVE for a global audience; if anything it accentuated their enthusiasm to entertain the crowd. THIS WAS THEIR ZONE...the tight arrangement and smooth transition of the 4-song medley allowed the group to show off their all-original tracks, as well as their phenomenal command of the stage. sooo proud of you SB19.*

SB19 is not your typical boyband group.
They started ORGANIC. They're not from a big company, no big labels connected to them. They make their own music, choreograph and even direct their own mvs. They're hands-on to everything.
They struggled during their training years, relying small allowance. Some members sometimes couldn't afford food & transportation but their grind continues until they nearly got disbanded. And thank God, that 1 twitter fan account noticed their talent in Go Up dance practice video and made them go viral, where things started to look up.
They paved the way for PPop whereas Ph wasn't in favor yet for this kind of "genre" and they were called Kpop copycats & wannabes. Many filos, some journalists, and even some OPM personalities looked down on them. But despite the hate, they were in their own zone and look at what they've become now🥺 They perform not to get famous but they have a strong vision to break into the scene to showcase Pinoy talent and help raise economy.
There are more stories of each members. Get to know them and you'll see yourself falling in a rabbit hole. Gento is just the tip of an iceberg of SB19💙

SB19's live vocal prowess came from them debuting without any safety nets. When I say safety nets, I mean they were never given the most comfortable conditions when they were still establishing their name. They always have to sing live.
When they were starting, I can still remember their performances when they don't even have in-ears but they still manage to perform really well. And it's also a thing in the Philippine entertainment industry to get singers/groups to sing spontaneously (not part of the script) during guestings/events. And boy, do they deliver vocally during those moments. The impromptu harmonizations are just topnotch.
They were honed with hardships that's why live performances are just another normal day for them. Apart from that, each of them genuinely loves their craft and they all have a hand in making their tracks. Pablo, with the majority of their track productions and compositions and his solos, Stell, with the choreographies and his unmatched vocal skill, Josh and Ken with writing their rap parts as well as their solo projects, Justin with his creative directing capabilities and his solo works as well. They absolutely know what they are doing and how they want to do it.
In the beginning of their career, they really lacked the financial support to do big stages and to do grand promotions. But I'm glad that they are doing better now because they have so much to offer. The world has to see this amount of skill and talent.
If you watched this performance and thought about how good they are already, this is just the tip of the ice berg. You have yet to see their vocally intricate ballad performances.
They are also the CEO's of their own company now (1Z Entertainment), with Pablo leading, apart from their own solos and brands.

I have watched this gazillion times and it never gets old. The fans OMG, they’re the best. They all probably stepped out with no voices from screaming. Hahaha. Best place to experience SB19 is Araneta Coliseum. Everyone should just fly there and watch their concert. I would pay plane tickets and hotel just to be around the best audience, Filipinos.
