Thanks for sharing this video. I have the same sewing machine
Thank you ! Very pretty!
I have been looking at this for a while now, and now I really want it!!
I recently purchased the Brother Computerized Sewing Machine, XR9550PRW, Project Runway Limited Edition, 150 stitches. I mainly sew on fabric and occasionally paper. The only draw back to sewing on both is you have to change the needle as you should never sew on paper then go to fabric. Thanks for the video as I've never owned a computerized machine and have been a bit nervous about trying it out. I have a professional machine that I've had for decades but no option other than basic stitches.
thank you so much for doing this video I requested! the stitches are great and it definetly gave me some inspiration for sewing more
So glad you saw it
Thank you so much for doing this video. I have a brother machine but not the one you have but all the stitches are the same. It was wonderful seeing so many of them. I never thought about making a sample card for all the stitches. I am definitely going to do that. I guess I was just afraid of some of the stitches but not any more.
Blessings
Jennifer
I have the Brother SQ9185. It is currently between $150 and $199. It has all those stitches plus it does letters. It also comes with an expansion table. I have been using a sewing machine for over 40 years. This is an excellent video for us old timers that don't want to experiment and for the new to sewing crowd. Thanks so much!
Oh that’s great to know, I’ll check that one out!
Oh awesome, thanks for making this video for us :)
Great video! I enjoyed so much seeing all the different stitches and realizing that sewing on paper is good and sewing on fabric is good, too. It was so wonderful to see different ways we could stitch including increasing or decreasing the stitch length. Thank you so much for taking the time to share!
Thank you so much I have one and wantes to know if you have a Playlist. I have no idea how to do the embroidery part of it.
Nice idea my friend 🤗 👌👌👌 stay connected 🤗 😊 🌹👏💯
Awesome share ... really enjoyed this!
Loved this video! Thank you so much for the demonstration of all the stitches. I'm looking to buy a sewing machine mainly to sew on paper for journals.
What a great idea, so simple, so easy but really handy!
Thank you for sharing , this will enable to not be afraid of my machine!
I am looking to find an image of the inside of this device on the bottom where the feed dogs go out operates but I need an image of it I need an image of it
Loved this! Sewing machine is on the wishlist!
Hi, I know it's been a while since you posted this, but I juuuust started sewing. Like today. Lol and one of the instructions said to use the "longest stitch length"... Idk what that means, but I have this machine! Could you lmk?
Sadly I wish mine worked as well as yours 🤪
Oh no, is yours the same model ? Have you cleaned it lately ?
Which foot were you using?
Have you ever tried using metallic thread with a top stitch needle for sewing on paper? Any advice as to whether it would work (I know there is no consensus about using metallic thread for sewing machine stitching). I don’t know if it would be worth buying a sewing machine if I couldn’t use fancier thread. Also, it looks like your samples are sewn on card stock, is that correct?
I will try out the metallic thread ASAP and get back to you. Also yes it was cardstock
