    Sorry you are not feeling well but I thought this might cheer you up. I have been watching your videos for about a couple of months and the journals and sewing on fabric and paper have fascinated me. I then watched the videos on sewing. I am 78 years old and never owned a sewing machine but always wanted to. After the videos I thought I can do that so I bought a sewing machine. I was always afraid I couldn’t thread it or load the bobbin. Using your videos I can now do both. I guess you can say I have now marked off something from my bucket list. Thanks for the inspiration and feel better soon.

    I have had my PR Brother machine for quite a few years. I made over 300 masks during the pandemic. It has been well used and the bobbin winding and the upper threading have both been missing a step in the process!!! Duh!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ No wonder my sewing line has always had issues. I have been attempting to make bowl cozies as Christmas gifts, and the top stitching had to be right. I decided to turn to UA-cam for answers. Thank you for your videos on correctly winding the bobbin and the upper threading. You have saved me buying another sewing machine. Merry Christmas!!!❤️❤️❤️🎄🎄

I really liked the video's you have done both on bobbin and threading the machine. But, LOL That being said, I can't help but wonder why you didn't mention the self needle threader option on the machine. Hello, I recently acquired this machine for my niece. I wanted to make sure it worked and to refer her to videos ( due to covid) that could help her with this machine. Your video was short and clear. I have one suggestion. After I watched your video and looked at the diagram in the instruction manual (when the tension was incorrect) I rethreaded the machine multiple times. It seemed simple enough. My problem it seemed was not that i was threading it wrong but my thread was not going into the tension control. it was laying on top. If you could just mention that as you pull down in this area (and do one of your close ups as you did in other areas).. point out where the tension is actually located and to make sure it’s between the 2 wheels verses possibly laying on top (in my case). For novice sewers... lol and apparently old school ( tension exposed in the front) the tension area is worth mentioning. Anyways.. good video. Happy Holidays.

    Hey Jessica Great tutorial. I've owned this machine since February. I absolutely love this machine. I just wanted to let you know, this machine has auto threader I guess you could call it that. It's the gray arm thingy on the left by the needle. It's a life saver to help you thread your needle. I just wanted to point this out to you. It tells you more in the instructions. It's kinda hard to actually explain. So thought you might want to check this feature out. It's awesome once you use it. It's very very helpful ☺️☺️ Tfs! Sarah

    • @Soulcreative334
      @Soulcreative334 7 років тому

      We're a Cool Fam Yes I know it took me FOREVER😂 But once you get the hang of it It's WELL worth it ☺️. What I do is hold down that gray arm on the left once you did everything you mentioned. Then wrap you thread around that silver hook/arm thingy under the gray arm. Then make sure that you needle is lined up completely with the other silver arm that cradles the needle. Then pull your thread straight across in between those two little arm things in front of the needle. Then let go it should've pulled your thread through the hole. If not the needle hole wasn't were it needs to be. Just try adjusting it then it'll work. I'm probably not making sense but I tried 😂😂😂😂. I hope so cause it does really help ☺️

      Thank you for your reply. I think I will like it a lot. Is the paper thing just for design? Since researching this machine I've seen several people talk about sewing paper. I subbed to your channel because I think I can likely learn a lot from watching your videos. I can't wait till our machine gets here so I can tinker with it and see what I can do. It may not be the most manly thing to say but i cant wait to sublimate the album covers of our favorite band Blue October onto fabric and make pillows out of them. LoL

    Just got this machine. For the life of me I can't get it threaded! The thread keeps breaking. Not sure what is wrong.

      I spend more time trying to thread this machine than I do sewing. It's infuriating. If you figure out a trick please let us know!

    Could be even easier if you used the needle threader on your machine.

    You didn’t show how to use the threader, that’s my main reason to watch if you could do that I’d really appreciate it

    Too bad you didn’t get to use the actual threader on the machine. It’s a lifesaver.

      KaiSea BurnettMon I use it! I try to limit the amount of things I teach in one video, as it seems to overwhelm some people. But is an amazing feature
