I know what it is like to learn Indian classical music, although very, very little. It is never easy receiving knowledge through Skype... I needed this experience to understand the process. I do not regret a second of it. But then seeing your Guru face to face is something that money can't buy. In other words, you can not compare the 2 styles of learning, especially music. In my opinion, music can not be studyed remotely unless the student has some basses or it is a very theoretical subject to teach. And I mean any music.
