It's not hard to slip a punch when you're that high level of a striker when the guy you're fighting is swinging blindly, telegraphing his throws and is throwing extremely slow because of severe fatigue.

I think Alex clearly learned a lot when he got KO’d by Izzy, he was so patient and thought defense first with those slips and pulls before ripping his combos.
He still had his hands down by his waist a lot of the fight man just how he got KOd by Izzy but i think his chin is just way better at 205 + he saw that Khalil was tired and was no threat anymore
He literally did the same thing that got him ko if you notice even in kickboxing when he hurts his opponent he drops his hand and relies purely on head movement n start unleashing combos

My guess is because Alex said that he Was very sick coming into this fight he thought his easiest route to victory would be to not prolong this fight and get an early knockout. Thats why he was so aggressive at the beginning but then fought a lot smarter as the fight progressed.
