Nice. My biggest con is that they should have put the infotainment from the accord hybrid in this. The 12" screen is a significant upgrade and honestly would be nicer!
I assume they planned this on the mid-refresh model, because if you look around the screen, there is a weird extra space with cap around it, just looks like it is for a bigger screen to fit, so my guess is they save money for the pre-refresh model.
Ventilated seats and the option for a non-stowable (not willing to give up full size spare) 2nd row middle seat would be great additions. For an adventure family of 5 you need full cargo room with 3rd row flat and still retain ability to seat 5. 💪🏼 Honda listen up……great review!
I have a deposit on a gx550 myself. But all the issues on the 3.4 v6 twin turbo’s have me shopping around. Too many blown tundra and sequoia. Pilot isn’t as “cool” but much more spacious. Also love the reliable honda naturally aspirated v6.
@@iosifkovalenko8364 Yeah that makes sense. For me, I want the captains chairs, which I think only come on the +models. Honda is like 10-20k cheaper and has really everything I care about 🤷♂
All Honda and Acura Vehicles that have engine idle-stop feature can be turned OFF. But it reverts back to On the next time you restart the vehicle. So when you start the vehicle, say to go to work you just push button after starting vehicle to turn it Off. But you will have to push the button again the next time you restart the vehicle. Not to much of an issue as people make it out to be especially on Honda vehicles.
@@fredmoss4540 exactly! You have to pay for the top trim to get cooled seats, but all the other trim levels get heated seats. It's as if Honda doesn't understand that some climates required cooled seats and not heated seats.
@StarbaseTx Honda never has been have it your way company. I guess it keeps their cost down or simplifies their production. The Elite and Black Edition trims have Perforated Leather Seating. The leather with tiny holes in it is a more breathable type leather. The Pilot TrailSport gets the durable synthetic leather seats. That would clean up easier than the Perforated Leather. So, TrailSport trim is marketed for more for outdoor off-road adventure mud dirt type.
@@fredmoss4540 I definitely understand about the different trims. I have own multiple Honda Pilots, always in the Touring trim. I've also owned several cars that have the ventilated seats. And as a native Texan I can tell you it is probably one of the most desirable features for those of us who live in hot climates! Most manufacturers these days offer ventilated seats on the majority of their trims. This is an oversight by Honda.

I bought one it's sick! Happy with it, you can fit a full-sized pistol with a holster in center console! 10/10
I find the center console is best for grenades.
Bought a Trailsport 2025 3 weeks ago and we love it! Very roomy and maneuvers well. Love the technology it has.
I have the elite trim! Love it! Terrible on gas. I’m averaging 17.5 mpg combined.

Nice content! Anyway what camera are you using?
Thanks! It’s a GoPro Hero 11.
Great video Paul, seems like more and more automakers are switching their shift knobs to buttons now a days.
Thanks Martin! I don’t like it!
@@PaulsPlace I very much agree with you on that, wonder what the reasoning behind it is.
I was looking at a Lexus GX 550. That tank gets like 15 mpg haha. When you said this thing sucks fuel, I had to comment 😄

Did I hear you say auto on/off start feature? Can that be shut off?????
Yes it can!

No ventilated seat is a non-starter! Too hot in South Texas to not have ventilated seats. And I'm too old to deal with swamp butt!
Ventilated Front Seats standard on Pilot Elite and Black Edition.
