that strategy is called the Martingale model. it works theoretically but in real life, you willl run out of funds before the price reverses and hits your TPs.
Like to know if the bot performance on weekly basis, meaning all positions are close by 5pm on Friday. Does it do so or it will hold open positions over the weekend?

Bro if you Can't withstand a streak of 12 Consecutive Losses in a Row, Just go Find another Job , Go do Landscaping or something , I promise you that day will come even If you have a 70% win rate.
There is so many case scenarios that can occure, like what if it triggers your buy stop and doesnt hit your TP but then goes back down to your previous sell stop, will you sell again with a bigger lot size for sells? What if it starts ranging around that level? will you keep doubling up?

yes, that's what the EA does, it continues doubling up the volume even when the market is consolidating. This is a cracked version of the original robot which is supposed to have a news filter that reduces the chances of being stuck in a ranging market

This particular hedging strategy is a disaster waiting to happen. That being said i love hedging and use it almost daily for years now. There are many many other ways to hedge besides this one. You should make videos on each strategy but also reinforce that its ONLY an alternative to a stop and doesn't mean you can be sloppy or lazy with your trading. You still need a good initial strategy

After looking at your FXBook, I had a few questions. First, thank you for the update. The results are exactly what I was expecting. Having it on one pair makes the most sense especially considering the DD. However, have you considered having the bot open trades only during volatile hours? Say from London open to NY afternoon? Maybe this might relieve the high DD..? Next, have you considered coding the bot for MT5 since it has better functionality than MT4? Again, thank you for the update and I look forward to using this bot in the future.

Well, running the EA during the London breakout is definitely a good idea, we will definitely explore that!
As we mentioned in the video, this is not our EA, someone else is trying to sell it to our Telegram group members. To be honest with you, I am more familiar with MT4, I didn't have the chance to try MT5 despite the fact that the software developer is forcing us to make the switch these days. But I believe there are many hedging EAs that are designed for MT5, they are available on their official marketplace.
@@TradingStrategyTesting Your developer is right, you really should make the switch. The MT5 optimization window is far SUPERIOR than the old MT4. I’m sure somebody created a five-minute UA-cam video on the differences. I am 100% confident that you will see the many advantages to switching platforms.
If there is a spread , and you take 100 pip buy and sell positions, how can it be the same amount of money lost as gained.? Your broker will take some off the top , right?
If you take a 100 pip buy and sell position in a spread, the amount of money lost and gained will not be the same due to the spread and the broker's commission. The broker takes a portion of the spread, which affects your profit or loss. Therefore, the amount of money lost will be more than the amount gained.
