I’m in 11th class in Germany and I have to write seminar paper (of 15 pages) in Neurophysiology so I decided to write about Brain haemorrhage, I started researching and collecting information and so on... today I found this video! I thought OMG 😆 I can just translate what you’re saying into German and get my A* ( am not going to do that of course) THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH you are an AMAZING lifesaver 🥺😁😁
I’m so grateful to be alive. I was assaulted and had a subdural hematoma and a subarachnoid hematoma, with an occluded RVA. Was in the hospital 3 days. Thank you for the knowledge
it def made sense! thank you! great review in the beginning. I watched so many other videos over this same topic and nobody is as thorough as you. I appreciate the consistency and how you always go thru background, clinical manifestations, pathophys, and treatment/prognosis on every topic!
I fell recently and suffered a subdural hematoma. I had to spend the night in the hospital because of the bleeding they were seeing in my CT scan, but fortunately the next morning my CT scan was ok and I went home. They kept telling me when I was in the hospital if it got any worse they would have to do a procedure to me, but no one would tell me exactly what that would be. Watching this video, I finally found out. Thank you! Hopefully, I will not do this again but at least I will be able to prepare myself mentally for whatever they have to do. I worried all night in the hospital about what they would have to do, lol. If they had just told me, I could have slept.
Technology has made it easier for students to learn with devices new, but nothing can come close to the experience of being taught by an inspirational teacher like you. Thank you.
My 74 yr old dad just got out of emergency surgery for what I now understand is a subdural hematoma and now I understand (a little man, you're brilliant) what is going on and how it might have happened. Thank you!
The happy little wiggle at the end! So cute. Cannot thank you and your crew enough. Big massive Thank you! (sorry if the comment posted million times pfft!)
thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you Ninja Nerd! I just began my residency and I am still learning from you guys! (and I hope to continue learning from you for many more years !!! )
I work in operating department and get to see many of these cases managed either via X-ray guided technique and surgically in a regular basis.Man you are amazing, well done!
Thank you so much! Your video helped me a lot in my self-study of neurological disorders in preparation for my upcoming advanced pathophysiology class for the Family Nurse Practitioner program!
you are such a good teacher! One can really hear not only how knowledgeable you are, but also how much you enjoy the subject and talking about it! Thank you! I am really having a hard time following my anatomy classes and I realize it has a lot to do with how they are presented.. I wish you were my professor! :)

Simply awesome. I can't possibly go through every single video and 'Like' and 'Comment' however these videos are just awesome. All the way from Australia. They have saved my backside.
It's really great the way you present these topics sit. Please make a video explaining cns tumours, it's a really confusing topic and many students find it tough to have a basic knowledge of it. We will be really thankful.😊
Thanks for your effort. I am neurosurgeon from Türkiye. I do not recommend using mannitol in a patient with epidural hematoma. Mannitol can increase epidural hematoma volume.
In epidural hematoma we recommend surgery most of the times as an major artery like middle meningeal artery is damaged , so we do a burr hole surgery, otherwise the compression force of the accumulated blood will further compress the brain parenchyma, ventricles leading to hydrocephalus, focal neurological deficits and 3rd nerve palsy as epidural hematoma is quiet restricted to the sutures.
Ninja Nerd Science, love your work and really helping with my med degree, just at 31:50, isn't posterior communicating artery between the middle and posterior cerebral arteries and not between the two posterior cerebral arteries ?
In this video you mention another video about CSF flow. However, I don't see that video in your channel or on your website. I am looking to understand more of how excess CSF is put back into the blood stream through the arachnoid granulations. Can you help?

You sir are truly amazing at what you do. Keep it up man!!
best explanation so far
Nice and simplistic….. a little correction, what you identified as PCom is actually the PCA… great video
Thanks for your effort.
I am neurosurgeon from Türkiye. I do not recommend using mannitol in a patient with epidural hematoma. Mannitol can increase epidural hematoma volume.
Hi Dr, Can you explain why? I know it does increase the systemic volume and that is why it is contraindicating in pulmonary edema.
