That was my first book. My mom just finished it, than I did. After that a friend passed me The Gunslinger. That was in 5th grade, 1988, and my journey began.
Reason 20: as an American living in Norway, I got a huge laugh when reading the "Romani" dialog. I can't imagine where SK got the idea to copy/paste random Swedish/Norwegian (misspelled as well) sentences together and call it Romani! The curse itself was called "Purpur fargete ansiktet" which translates to: Purple colored face which makes zero sense! He should have fired his editor for allowing this dialog to be kept in!
Thank you for all the King/Bachman details, while I am a big King fan, I don´t have a lot of extra knowledge about his life tbh :) Thinner is (so far) my favorite book published under the Bachman name, but still nowhere near my favorite Kings... the main plot idea is actually really cool tho and the ending was very great as well!
I feel like these are more reminders of what you've read because after like point 6 you pretty much tell the whole plot and story. I like these videos after I've read the book
If I ever get a Time Machine, I wanna go back to before the Bachman story was revealed and just watch people react to Thinner, because I agree! It really does feel like King!

Nice!

Oh wow, that is amazing - thanks for sharing! 😂

Yes! The ending of Thinner is excellent 🙌 I would have The Long Walk as my top Bachman, but this is comfortably in second place
loved the book fast paced an viscous. Also as someone with Roma heritage it was nice to see a Gypsey story.
Nice! Did you think the Gypsy characters were fairly drawn, or did they stray into cliche territory at all?
I'm guessing if it wasn't a gypsy it would be a native American lol.

Ok, thanks for that
I thinking of this one being my second King book, hopefully! :D
Nice, enjoy! It's a fun one!
The Hammer makes me laugh. He was incredible on midfield for us!
Yes! The most majestic left peg ever AND cracking goals against both the Baggies and the Blues
About to reread then rewatch the movie
OK movie but absolutely great read
The movie definitely has its moments, but the book clearly wins out!
Great video on a great book
Great comment on an ok video about a great book 👆😉
Why thank you, Dave! Actually yes, I have lost some weight! Like a lot... maybe a little too much...
Ha! And how's your driving been recently?
@@DaveReadsKing Let's just say I'm rather.... handy behind the wheel.

A great read, if a little on the thin side!!
Ba-dum tish! 😉
I love the thinner movie and my dad loves the book
I genuinely think both are really good 👌
Yeah
I just wanna say I think you should also do another book run though but with a spoiler free review
For some reason I always thought Thinner was a short story lmao. Don't know why I thought that lol
It is quite a breezy read
Ur adorable Davebro
Thank you NGbro 💜
I think thinner just FEELS like stephen king.
