I am amazed at how inexpensive these items are. That egg salad sandwich would be $3.99 at least where I am from, and probably wouldn't have nearly as much in it.
I haven't seen any of the Japanese food bloggers eat somewhere that has sourdough bread. Is there a sourdough type bread that is consumed in Japan? The reason I ask, is one of my favorite sandwiches is egg salad on grilled sourdough with swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato.
