The gaburichu is similar to what we call taffy here in the US.

The other ones commenting about price seem to be Canadian, but I shop at a 7-11 frequently here in America and I'm also shocked at how cheap the prices in Japan are! Not to mention the larger selection of food in general, warm and cold. I suppose in a culture where it's generally more common to get your meals from a convenience store it makes sense, but I'm envious. I'm here paying 5 bucks for a simple egg salad sandwich.

Why are these products so much cheaper in Japan than the US or other countries?

I know right? I went to 7/11 today and sandwiches are 9 bucks in Canada and they had no food ready 😢

The vegetable juice at 2:50 seems very similar to the juice drink "V8" in America. It's supposed to contain 8 servings of vegetables, and much like the Japanese version, doesn't taste very good.
Edit- that Onigri looks bomb tho. I'd pack that for my lunch anyday.

How is it Japan gets all the financial breaks? I can not buy more than 2 items if that for $10. A 7-11? Sounds crooked to me. 🤷🇨🇦 Rest of us pay and get practically air filled bags with some scraps inside. Then taxed through the teeth. On top of cost.

Why is it so noisy? It sounds like you are sitting outside in the middle of traffic!

I lived in a nice home by a freeway. You get used to the white noise.
